Study Design: A prospective observational study conducted over a 36-month period between January 2020 and December 2022 across four urban gynecology clinics.Abstract
Menopause is a natural biological process characterized by the cessation of menstruation and a significant reduction in estrogen levels. This transition is frequently associated with vasomotor symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disturbances, mood changes, and increased risk for osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, and urogenital atrophy. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), involving the administration of estrogen alone or in combination with progestin, remains the most effective treatment for alleviating menopausal symptoms and preventing long-term sequelae of estrogen deficiency.References
