EVALUATION OF VASCULAR RISK FACTORS IN ISCHEMIC STROKE AMONG YOUNG ADULTS
To assess the prevalence and contribution of modifiable vascular risk factors in young adult patients with ischemic stroke, aiming to develop early prevention strategies. The primary objective of this study is to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the modifiable and non-modifiable vascular risk factors contributing to the onset of ischemic stroke in individuals aged between 18 and 45 years. Recognizing that stroke in young adults results in prolonged disability, economic burden, and social consequences, this research aims to bridge the gap in regional epidemiological data by exploring the pattern and prevalence of common risk contributors such as hypertension, smoking, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus, and sedentary lifestyle.
