DIFFERENCES IN THE LINGUISTIC GEOGRAPHY OF JIZZAKH DIALECT

Abstract: As with any language, the richness of Uzbek dialects is no
secret. This article discusses various aspects of Jizzakh dialect.

It is known that dialects play an important role in the development of
language. Therefore, writing different words in dialects, preserving
ethnographic terms that are important for a particular region from
becoming an abstract concept, is a topical issue at the moment. In particular,
it is no secret that the Jizzakh dialect is unique, its linguistic geography is
very complex and has similarities with other language categories.
The Qarluq-Chigil-Uyghur dialect (Tashkent, Fergana, Margilan,
Samarkand, Bukhara, Andijan, Jizzakh, Kattakurgan) is understood as such
dialects. However, there are significant differences in the regions of Jizzakh
dialect, including Jizzakh, Bakhmal, Zaamin, Gallaaral and Forish. Jizzakh
belongs to the Qarluq dialect, but Karabdol and Garasha villages of Bakhmal,
Zaamin, Gallaorol and Forish districts belong to the Kipchak dialect, and the
Forish (Baghdon) dialect is very different from other dialects. Therefore, the
Baghdan dialect caused differences in the linguistic geography of Uzbek
dialectology. When Jizzakh dialect is mentioned, it is better to group it as an
example of which dialect. Jizzakh group: Gallaorol dialect, Bakhmal dialect,
Forish (Garden) dialect, because the dialects in the regions are different. As
an example, in the Jizzakh dialect the word dog (in the form of yt) is
pronounced. According to the classification of Ulug Tursunov, it is divided
into phonetically y and y-y group, in which Jizzakh-Samarkand (residents of
the city) are classified into y-group, Bakhmal, Zaamin group. Narpay, which
is found only in Samarkand, is classified as Koshrabod. A similar situation is
observed in the linguistic geography of Jizzakh. Both of these groups are
divided into 2 groups. The eastern group includes the following regions -
Gallaaral, Zaamin, Forish (Karabdol). It is more correct to divide the western
group as -Narpay Pakhtach, Nurata.

It is true that Forish (Karaobdol, Garasha) in the above eastern group is
divided because the dialects of Forish and Karaobdol are completely
different from each other. In linguistic geography, adding Karabdol to the
Forish territory would be a big mistake.

It seems that there is a big difference in the Jizzakh dialect. There is also
a significant difference in the pronunciation of words from a phonetic point
of view. The main reason for this is that the languages of the peoples living
in the territory of Central Asia have been used as a means of communication
with each other. Because of this, dialects have links to other language
categories. There are 3 major dialects in the Uzbek language, which in turn
are the dealectal basis for the Uzbek literary language. Kipchak dialect
"jato'r" form person pronouns 1 and 2 person singular forms (I you)
difference of accusative and accusative verbs Some adjectives in the past
tense verb and in the lexical field livestock, grain, cotton and the derivation
of agricultural terms in general shows that this dialect is one of the dialectal
foundations of the Uzbek literary language.
As noted above, the similarity of dialects intersecting with each other
has in turn led to differences in linguistic geography. Jizzakh dialect - Qarluq
dialect, Jizzakh (Gallaorol, Zaamin, Karaobdol) - Kipchak dialect, Forish
(Bagdon) Oguz dialect. There are many opinions on the Forish (Baghdad)
dialect. In one of his lectures, Associate Professor Abbos Tursunpulatov
noted that the Forish (Baghdan) dialect has the features of the Persian-Tajik
language. This indicates that the Jizzakh dialect is unique.
