Abstract:
This article analyzes the impact of digital technologies and
interactive methods on students' reading literacy. The ways of developing
students' skills in understanding, analyzing, and expressing opinions through
the use of modern tools in the teaching process are considered. Conclusions are
made based on scientific research, practical examples, and innovative
approaches.

.In the era of globalization and digital transformation, fundamental changes
are taking place in the field of education. In particular, in addition to traditional
approaches to improving students' reading literacy, there is an increasing need
for interactive methods based on modern information and communication
technologies. Today, reading literacy includes not only reading a text, but also
the ability to understand, analyze, evaluate, and express one's own opinion.
They include the following features.
1. Digital technologies.
Digital technologies in education are an integral part of modern education.
Electronic textbooks, video materials, interactive presentations, online tests and
educational platforms create an engaging, visual, dynamic learning environment
for the student. For example, through tools such as Kahoot, Quizizz, Padlet,
students have the opportunity to answer text-based tests, exchange ideas, and
visually reflect the content of the text.
2. The role of interactive methods.
Interactive methods put the student at the center. Text analysis is activated
through methods such as “Pair work”, “Brainstorming”, “Insert”, “Thought
mapping”, and “Debate”. For example, using the Insert method, the student
determines the information he or she has received from the text: he or she
marks what he or she knows (

questions (?) where it is unclear. This helps to conduct the reading process in a
logical order.

3. Impact on the development of reading literacy
As a result of the use of digital. technologies and interactive methods:
- Students' text analysis skills develop;
- The ability to express thoughts in writing and orally
increases;
- Interest in reading increases;
- A critical approach to the text is formed.
In conclusion. Digital technologies and interactive methods play an
important role in improving reading literacy. The combination of traditional
methods with modern tools increases the quality of education. Educators should
effectively use these opportunities to develop in-depth understanding, analytical
thinking, and a creative approach in students.
