Abstract:
The article analyzes the role of seasonal songs in Uzbek and
English children's folklore in children's education and their importance in
forming an attitude towards nature. In Uzbek and English children's folklore,
seasonal songs play an important role in increasing children's respect for the
environment and helping their moral development by describing natural
phenomena. These songs provide ample opportunities for children to
understand nature, inculcate national and religious values, and develop
language and speech skills.

Children's folklore occupies an important place in the cultural heritage of
every nation. It contributes to the mental, physical and moral development of
children, teaches them to respect the traditions, values and nature of their
people. Seasonal songs in children's folklore are an integral part of this process
and play a major role in forming their understanding of natural phenomena. In
Uzbek and English children's folklore, natural phenomena, seasons and various
seasonal rituals are described through seasonal songs, which serves to deepen
children's attitude to nature.
In Uzbek children's folklore, seasonal songs are preserved as an integral
part of national culture. For example, the song "Boychechak" tells children that
spring is coming, which increases children's attention to changes in nature. This
song talks about the beginning of spring, the blooming of flowers, the awakening
of nature, which helps children to feel the spring season and understand the
beauty of nature. Through such songs, children learn to observe and appreciate
natural phenomena, which increases their respect for the environment.
Seasonal songs are also common in English children's folklore. For
example, the song "Rain, Rain, Go Away" expresses children's attitude to rain.

This song talks about the stop of the rain and children's desire to play in the
street. Through this song, children learn about the impact of natural phenomena
on human life and learn to adapt to them. On rainy days, children realize the
changeability of nature and learn to appreciate its every season and event.
Seasonal songs contribute not only to children's understanding of nature,
but also to their education. In Uzbek children's folklore, seasonal songs often
contain moral lessons. For example, through the song "Yo Ramadan" children
will learn about the sanctity of the month of fasting, patience and respect. This
song not only teaches religious traditions, but also inculcates social and moral
values in children. This helps children to understand their responsibilities to
society and educates them in the right direction in society.
In English children's folklore, seasonal songs have a great educational
value. For example, through the song "The Marriage of Cock Robin and Jenny
Wren", children learn about wedding customs. This song describes the wedding
ceremony of the bride and groom, their love and devotion to each other. This
song instills family values in children's minds, encourages them to think about
the importance of respect and love.
Seasonal songs are not only entertainment for children, but also an
important tool in teaching them life lessons. Through these songs, children will
learn about seasons, natural phenomena, national and religious ceremonies.
This expands their worldview and shapes their attitude to the environment.
Also, these songs help children develop their language and improve their
speaking skills.
In short, seasonal songs in Uzbek and English children's folklore play an
important role in shaping children's attitude to nature and their education.
These songs teach children about the seasons and natural phenomena, inculcate
national and religious values, and contribute to their emotional and spiritual
development. Therefore, seasonal songs occupy a special place in children's
education and remain an integral part of national culture.
