Annotation:
This article talks about Alexander Feinberg's life, creative
work, translation and screenwriting work. His place in Uzbek literature, his
contribution to national and international poetry is analyzed. Also, the
combination of nationalism and universality in his works, and his success in re-
creating masterpieces of Uzbek literature in Russian are also considered.

Alexander Arkadyevich Feinberg (1939–2009) is a Russian poet,
translator and screenwriter, a creator who received the title of People's Poet of
Uzbekistan. His work and work occupy an important place in the literature and
culture of Uzbekistan.
Alexander Feinberg was born on November 2, 1939 in Tashkent. His parents,
Arkady Lvovich and Anastasia Alexandrovna, moved from Novosibirsk to
Tashkent in 1937. His father worked as a chief engineer at a distillery, and his
mother as a machinist. After finishing the seven-year school, Feinberg entered
the Tashkent technical school of topography, and after graduating, he served in
the military in Tajikistan. In 1965, he graduated from the journalism
department of the Faculty of Philology of Tashkent University by
correspondence and worked in the student newspaper. The famous Uzbek poet
Abdulla Oripov said, "As for the work of Alexander Feinberg, all the high words
do not reflect even one hundredth of the truth, because he was actually a unique
poet and translator. A world-class writer, ... none of the Russian-speaking
writers can sing a heartfelt song to our sunny land." - described it as.

married Inna Glebovna Koval. He died on October 14, 2009 in Tashkent and was
buried in the Botkin cemetery.
Creativity
Feinberg's work was multifaceted, and he was the author of fifteen poetry
collections. His poems were published in "Smena", "Yoshlik", "Yangi Dunya",
"Sharq Stari", "Yangi Volga" magazines, as well as periodicals of the USA, Canada
and Israel. Among the main poetry collections are "Etude" (1967), "Sonia"
(1969), "Poems" (1977), "Far Bridges" (1978), "Response" (1982), "Short Wave"
(1983), "Spread There are such works as "net" (1984) and "Free Sonnets"
(1990).
In Feinberg's poetry, the themes of past and present, West and East, nationalism
and internationalism are interconnected, creating a unique artistic universe. His
lyrical hero is described as a person who has preserved his human essence, is
ready to show compassion to others, and suffers from unpleasant events in the
world. In Feinberg's poems, a desire to deeply understand the essence of life and
humanity is felt.
The sharp poet occupies an important place in the translation
field with his translations.He is considered one of the skilled translators and
made a worthy contribution to thepopularization of Uzbek poetry by translating
Uzbek works into Russian.Examples of this are Erkin Vakhidov's poem "Revolt of
Spirits" published in Moscow,a collection of translations of Uzbek poets' works
"Akkushlargala" published in Tashkent. Through poetry, he shows his respect
for society, cultural values, and national heritage. After graduating from school,
he studied at the Tashkent Topographical Technical College. Later, he graduated
from the journalism department of the Faculty of Philology of Tashkent
University by correspondence.
In addition, the translator skillfully translated
into Russian the poems and epics of famous Uzbek poets E. Vakhidov, A. Oripov,
O. Matzhon. Along with this, the ghazals of Alisher Navoi, the sultan of the ghazal
estate, are no exception. These are not just translations, they are the pinnacle of
the translator's translation activity. Rustam Musurman plays an important role
in passing on Feinberg's legacy to his descendants.
Employment: During his student years, he worked in the university newspaper.
He also worked in the field of geology. The poet's works reflect the best artistic
experiences of Russian and European poetry, as well as the traditions of Eastern
classical poetry.

Literary translation plays an important role in Feinberg's work. Having a perfect
knowledge of Uzbek poetry, he translated Alisher Navoi's ghazals, Erkin
Vahidov, Abdulla Oripov, Amon Matjon and other Uzbek poets' poems and epics
into Russian. Through these translations, Uzbek literature was brought to
Russian-speaking readers.
Screenwriting activities
Based on Feinberg's screenplays, films such as "My Brother", "Under the Hot
Sun", "The Lost in Kandahar" were shot in the "Uzbekfilm" film studio, and
"Criminal and acquittals" in the "Tajikfilm" film studio. In total, four full-length
feature films and about twenty cartoons were created based on his scripts. In
1999, on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the death of the
"Pakhtakor" football team in a car accident, the film "Stadium in the Sky" was
shot based on his script.
Awards and recognitions
In 1999, Feinberg was awarded the title of "Honored Culture Worker of
Uzbekistan", in 2004 "People's Poet of Uzbekistan". In 2008, he was awarded the
Pushkin medal. Feinberg's memory is honored in Uzbekistan. A statue of him has
been installed on Adiblar Avenue in Tashkent. On the occasion of the poet's
birthday, ceremonies of placing flowers at the base of his statue are held
