NEURAL NETWORK MODEL FOR CALCULATING THE PRODUCTIVITY OF DRYING SUNFLOWER SEEDS IN A COMBINED DRUM
This article describes a neural network model for calculating the drying productivity of sunflower seeds in a combined drum dryer. Neural network modeling was performed in the Neural Networks Toolbox in Matlab. The adequacy of the constructed model to the experimental values was checked and compared.
FUZZY LOGIC-BASED AIR CONDITIONER CONTROL SYSTEM: DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
This study presents the design and development of an innovative Air Conditioner Control System based on Fuzzy Logic. The use of Fuzzy Logic allows for intelligent and adaptive control, optimizing the performance of air conditioning units. By incorporating Fuzzy Logic algorithms, this system efficiently adjusts cooling and heating operations based on real-time environmental conditions and user preferences. The research highlights the application of Fuzzy Logic in enhancing energy efficiency, comfort, and adaptability in air conditioning systems, ultimately contributing to sustainable and intelligent HVAC solutions.
STUDY OF THE EXPLOITATIVE PROPERTIES OF THE DEVELOPED ADDITIVES AND THEIR APPLICATION
Naphthalene additives, as indicated in the literature review, are classified as detergent additives. Additives of this type are primarily used in engine oils. It is known that the composition of the “D” group oil should include an effective package of additives to achieve the level of performance properties, which ensures long-term performance of the most forced engines especially in severe operating conditions. To date, there is no universal method for assessing the behavior of oil at high temperatures, therefore oil is usually tested via several (laboratory and stand) methods. For example, in domestic practice, a four-stage system for determining the quality of newly created (experimental) oil products is provided.
DIGITAL COMPETENCES: CONCEPT, TYPES, ASSESSMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
In the article, the authors define the concept of “digital competencies”, classify them by type, describe possible assessment methods, and also propose measures aimed at both developing the digital competencies of their own personnel and developing the necessary digital competencies of future specialists. The implementation of the proposed measures will allow employers to provide themselves with the necessary personnel and thus speed up the process of digital transformation of business and digitalization of the economy.

CHANGES IN THE SURFACE OF CdS BOMBARDED BY O+ IONS
In this study, we investigate the structural and chemical changes occurring on the surface of cadmium sulfide (CdS) when subjected to bombardment with oxygen ions (O+). CdS is a semiconductor material with various applications in optoelectronic devices, and understanding its surface modifications under ion bombardment is crucial for improving its performance. Using a combination of analytical techniques, including X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), we explore the alterations induced by O+ ion bombardment. Our findings reveal significant changes in the surface composition and morphology of CdS, shedding light on potential applications in semiconductor technology.

ENHANCING FACIAL RECOGNITION THROUGH CONTRASTIVE CONVOLUTION: A COMPREHENSIVE METHODOLOGY
This study presents an innovative approach to enhance facial recognition technology using contrastive convolutional neural networks (CNNs). The primary focus is on improving the accuracy and efficiency of face recognition systems under varying conditions. Key elements of this approach include meticulous data preparation and preprocessing, where images undergo normalization and diverse augmentation techniques to ensure quality inputs. The network architecture is designed to process pairs of face images, utilizing a common feature extractor and cascaded convolution layers for detailed feature representation. A specialized kernel generator further refines the process, emphasizing unique facial characteristics. The core of the training regimen is a contrastive loss function, optimized through gradient descent to enhance the network's discriminatory capabilities. Results from the study demonstrate a significant improvement in recognition accuracy, particularly highlighted by the superior performance of the proposed model in comparison to standard facial recognition algorithms. This research provides a comprehensive methodology that could revolutionize face recognition technology, offering more reliable and efficient solutions for various applications.

Distillation and rectification processes are common in the chemical, petrochemical, and food industries. All these processes are complex and very energy-intensive. Since the rectification process directly affects the quality of the final product, the problem of energy efficiency and resource saving remains relevant. The main tasks in solving this problem are mathematical modeling of the technological process, optimization of the design and technological parameters of the process based on its modernization. A special place in solving this problem is given to process management. This is explained by the nonlinearity and multiplicity of the process, nonstationarity of behavior and the influence of various disturbing influences on the process.
