ACHIEVEMENT AND CHALLENGES OF ONLINE LEARNING ABROAD
IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES TO INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS.

Abstract-
T
his article deals with the issues of the online process of learning in some
foreign countries and how achievement they gain from online lessons and also
difficulties.
In this modern life most of the people are aware of new and innovative
technology. This way, online education is becoming trend all around the globe.
However this type of education did not exist before COVID-19 occurred. “(Corona
virus disease(COVID-19)is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus) most
people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms
and recovery without special treatment. However, some will become seriously ill and
require medical attention” (World Health Organization 23 - December 2021). This
virus has taken such a terrible issue among people and it spread around all countries.
After that all authorities tried to tackle the problem by doing quarantine like keeping
the citizen at home. It started at the beginning of the year 2020. From this time every
education from kindergarten to master moves to online education that they had to
study while sitting at home. But this way has a negative and positive effect on
students in learning new things. For example, it impacted differently on learners
according to their majority. “Internet access ibility has resulted in an increment in the
demand for online learning across the world. We know very well that online learning
has managed to attract lots of attention. But many of them face some challenges of
online learning such as hindrances in their comprehensive learning experience and
real-time doubt solution.the advantages are getting suppressed by challenge during
the process of learning. In this article, we have provided some of the challenges faced
by students and professors along with the suggestion of how to overcome online
learning challenges”.(November 01, 2021,from the#Embibe Exams) Due to one
interview with Linda who is studying at secondary school experienced hard time
while learning new languages because she said that “ I find it easier to learn any
languages in person because I feel more immersed. Online there is not much
connection with people that I am learning with”. From this you can understand every
person has a different type of acceptance or learning style. While some researchers
found that most students gave some information about challenges in learning like lack
of responsibility the main reason for this, students do not near connection with their
teachers and they thought we can solve the tests that will give in final education year
by cheating like looking for the answers from internet. In this way they lost their duty
to do home task. Second big complication is internet connection in some rural area

of countries cause some misunderstandings. And last one is online education can
cause to reduce the speed of learning compared to traditional way because of given
reasons by children. Then, some students suffer from looking for along time on screen
in online lessons because it will be easy to distract the pupil by social media. And
then, they try to find some tricky ways to not participate in the lessons like, to find
some recorded videos of them. In this way they spent their golden time on
unnecessary items. One most complex problem by giving a journalist “many parents
are concerned ab out the health hazards of having their children spend so many hours
staring at a screen. This increase in screen time is one of the biggest concerns and
disadvantages of learning online. Sometimes students also develop bad posture and
other physical problems due to staying hunched in front of a screen.”(by PRIYANKA
GATAM, October 10,2020 from the#learning industry). While they experienced
more a harder time they tried to gain something good for everyone. First and
foremost, it helps to reduce the number of people who are infected by a virus because
almost every person stayed at home and they obeyed hygiene rules. Such kind of new
learning style gave big opportunity for students who do not have any knowledge
about using the latest technology and after that they learned it, in order to participate
the online lessons. Interestingly, most teachers say that: “ Such style is so good
because we can save our time and money. The reason during the traditional education
system we had to spend our time commuting the school or University sometimes it
takes a lot time to go because of traffic jams. And also, nowadays we have time to
take care our own family and children at home”. Most students consider that online
system helps to be somehow feeling independent because, they do everything on
themselves like every assignment without their teachers. They find how to do that
from internet then they can find other information in this way they can increase their
mental work and horizons. So that, some countries governments want to continue to
teach students in a modern way and they are finding some other app how to learn
efficiency.
