ARTICLE ON THE ROLE OF ONLINE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
IN TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES

Abstract:
The study of foreign languages is today an important factor not only
for personal development, but also for professional success. As globalization processes
accelerate, dialogue and cooperation between the peoples of the world is becoming
more intense. Therefore, the need for excellent study of foreign languages is increasing.
In addition to traditional educational methods, the possibilities of effective
organization of the educational process with the help of modern technologies are
expanding. Online educational resources are just one such opportunity and are of great
importance in the teaching of foreign languages.

One of the main advantages of Online educational resources is that it allows
students to take classes at any time and from anywhere. This is especially convenient
for individuals who are employed or who live geographically far from educational
institutions. Classes, video and audio materials, interactive tests, and exercises offered
via the Internet encourage students to actively participate in the mastering process.
These resources also allow students to learn at their own pace, which serves to meet
individual learning needs. When teaching foreign languages, online platforms provide
many different materials. Examples include exercises on vocabulary and grammar,
audio and video tutorials to improve pronunciation, games designed specifically for
language learning, and interactive tasks. This type of material increases the interest of
students and makes them even more involved in language learning. In addition, many
platforms have the ability to interact live with teachers, ask questions and share ideas.
This makes the learning process more efficient.[1]
With the help of Online educational resources, it becomes much easier to
implement an individual approach to teaching foreign languages. Each student can

more efficient and interesting. Students will also have the opportunity to constantly
monitor their results. This leads them to move further and master the language

them, teachers can make classes more interactive and interesting. There will also be an
opportunity to accurately assess the level of knowledge of students, identify

offer correct answers to them. This speeds up learning and improves quality. It is also
important to develop cultural ties in teaching foreign languages using online
educational resources. Through the Internet, students and teachers from different
countries can interact, get acquainted with cultures. This makes learning the language
more interesting and meaningful. Language and culture are complementary concepts,
and learning them together will help you master the language perfectly.[3]
The role of online educational resources in teaching foreign languages also
provides convenience in terms of cost. Compared to traditional classes, online courses
and materials are often cheaper or sometimes offered for free. This gives more people
the opportunity to learn a language. This is especially important for young people and
students, as they are often financially constrained. However, there are also some
disadvantages to online education resources. For example, a constant and high-quality
connection to the internet is required, which is not available in all regions. There may
also be insufficient self-control for some students, which reduces the effectiveness of
the learning process. Therefore, harmonizing online educational resources with
traditional education is the most optimal solution.[4]

effective tool in teaching foreign languages. They provide students with accessibility,
an individual approach, interactivity, and cultural exchange opportunities. It also helps
teachers to improve the quality of education and makes language learning more
interesting. With the help of modern technologies, online educational resources are
constantly developing and are able to radically change the process of language learning
in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to expand and improve the use of online
educational resources in teaching foreign languages. This has a positive effect not only
on personal development, but also on the overall cultural and economic development
of society.
