Resume
Osmoregulation is the process of maintaining an optimal level of osmotic pressure (solute
concentration) in the div. The kidneys play a key role in this process by regulating water and electrolyte
levels in the div. Studies on white rats provide insight into the underlying mechanisms of osmoregulation.
The kidneys filter the blood to remove waste and extra substances, including electrolytes (such as sodium,
potassium) and water. White rats are able to reabsorb water and electrolytes from primary urine, returning
them back into the bloodstream. This process allows you to maintain the required level of water and
electrolytes in the div.
Key words: Osmoregulation, electrolyte, salts, kidneys, pressure, sodium, potassium, filter.
