Annotation:

This article presents the importance of digital technologies in

music education, multimedia lectures used in the lessons of musical and theoretical
disciplines in the system of professional music education, methodological principles
that should be followed when creating this form of lectures.

Key words:

education, digital technologies, music, multimedia lectures,

innovative computer technologies.

The beginning of the 21st century was marked by drastic changes in the content

of music education in organizations of all types and levels, which is associated with
the active introduction of digital technologies into the educational process. Today,
these technologies are an important component of the music education system aimed
at musical education, education and development of students. The great importance
of digital technologies in music education is associated with the increasing role of
these technologies in the creative musical process, in particular, in the activities of
teachers of musical and theoretical disciplines. Digital music and computer
technologies are, first of all, innovative computer technologies for creating,
processing, and restoring musical material using electronic resources.

The introduction of digital music and computer technologies into the educational

process is conditioned by the modern requirements of updating music education, the
need for their inclusion in the developed pedagogical technologies and educational
models in order to improve the quality of music education. These factors determine
the relevance of using modern digital technologies in the music education system.

Digital music and computer technologies are becoming an integral part of the

educational process today. It not only enriches traditional pedagogical technologies
and means of musical education and development, but also serves to activate students'
interest in acquiring knowledge. One of the effective didactic tools used today in the
lessons of musical and theoretical disciplines in the system of professional music
education is a multimedia lecture that allows you to visually present musical notation,
tables, images, video, audio, etc. Multimedia lectures expand the educational
possibilities of the studied disciplines, create conditions for a universal combination
of all multimedia tools, contribute to a better assimilation of information by students,
and increase interest in educational material.

In the article “Development and methodology of using multimedia lectures”

A.K.Tomilin provides the following methodological principles that must be followed
when creating this form of lectures:

systematic presentation of educational material;

compliance with the relationship with educational and methodological

manuals;

thematic structuring of educational material in the content aspect;

the sequence of presentation of educational material throughout the course;

the content of the information on each slide;

logical development of information;

addition of sound and video sequences;

design integrity.

A separate course of such lectures in the framework of music education may be

devoted to the composer's work, historical period, style or genre, direction in music.
Thanks to the extensive multimedia capabilities, the teacher freely approaches the
choice of topics, educational material, the application of the lecture course and
creative implementation. Within the framework of mastering the history of music,
there are requirements for knowledge of oral or written transmission of thoughts about
the creative work of great composers, musical works, various genres, trends and styles
that they created.

A multimedia lecture is able to fully fulfill these requirements: the composer's

creative activity can be presented in the form of text (definitions, citations,
classifications, etc.) on video, in a table supplemented with portraits and musical
fragments, as well as include definitions of styles, genres and forms, show their
development, as well as the main representatives of the epochs. and musical trends.
To consolidate the completed material, a creative task in the form of an “essay” or a
test on the topic under study, control questions (analysis of a piece of music) may be
offered.

The course of multimedia lectures can also be used in students' independent

work, for example, when preparing for a test, repeating learned information, writing
a summary, etc. The use of multimedia technologies in classroom and extracurricular
activities not only increases interest in educational material, but also improves the
process of memorizing it.

Thus, a multimedia lecture can be an element of an organized educational

module of a discipline, reflect the teacher's lecture and be complemented by a
practical lesson that includes various exercises and tasks (tests, control papers, etc.)
for teaching diagnostics. It can also become the main didactic tool for organizing work
in the classroom (classroom and independent). Video lectures The main advantages

of a multimedia course are the accessibility and clarity of the material, as well as the
