THE IMPACT OF MODERN TECHNOLOGY IN THE KINDERGARTEN

Abstract.
Technology is one of the momentous thing which is playing the major role in
the life of humanity. It affects to education, especially to preschoolers. This abstract explored
the impact of modern technology in kindergarten education. The use of technology in
kindergarten classrooms has become increasingly prevalent in recent years, with modern
techniques. Nowadays there are various high-tech gadgets are used in most of kindergartens.
There were both negative and positive sides of teaching with advanced tools were counted
and the efficiency of this style were clarified.

Introduction
We are living in the Technology century. Nowadays technology is developing and
playing the important role in our life. Even young children know how to use computers,
phones, internet and other types of electronics. Even the role of technology in education is
immeasurable. R.Raja and P.C.Nagasubramani discussed on "The impact of technology in
education" article. The author wrote about the importance of using digital footprint in the
education sector, online degrees with the use of technology. In this article authors mentioned
that using computers, projectors is beneficial not for only children but also for teachers.

Today computers replacing children's other daily activities but it is important for their mental
improvement and mathematical knowledge such as easy to learn geometric shapes, how
many there are, what colour they have and similar to such kind of questions. Similar to such
kind of questions. It helps children to understand easily and to give their opinion about the
theme.
In another article which is "Better start before kindergarten, Computer technology,
interactive media and education of preschoolers" authors discussed about using computers
and other technique is not beneficial only for students but also for preschoolers. They advised
to use electronic technique for example, computers and projects in kindergartens.

positive and negative. Here are some key ways in which technology has influenced

Positive impacts

learning more engaging for young children. These tools can help children grasp fundamental
concepts in a fun and interactive way.

Software can adapt to a child's individual pace and needs, helping them progress at their own
speed.
3. Access to Information: Kindergarteners can access a wealth of information online,
broadening their horizons and nurturing their curiosity. They can explore a wide range of
subjects, fostering a love for learning.

literate at an early age, which is an important skill in the modern world.
5. Parent-Teacher Communication: Technology enables better communication between
parents and teachers. Apps and websites allow parents to stay updated on their child's

Negative impacts
1. Screen Time: Excessive screen time can have negative effects on a child's health,
including problems with sleep, posture, and physical activity.
2. Lack of Social Interaction: Overuse of technology can limit opportunities for face-to-
face social interaction, which is crucial for social and emotional development.
3. Privacy and Security:Young children may not fully understand the implications of
sharing personal information online. This poses privacy and security risks.
4. Digital Divide:Not all children have equal access to technology and the internet, which
can exacerbate educational inequalities.
5. Reduced Creativity: Overreliance on structured, technology-based activities can
hinder a child's creativity and imagination.
Moreover, technology has also made it possible for kindergarteners to access a vast
amount of information at their fingertips. Through the use of the internet, children can
explore and learn about various topics beyond what is taught in the classroom. This not only
expands their knowledge but also encourages them to be curious and independent learners.
As we know, everything has its own drawbacks. Teaching by modern technique such as.
computers, electronic boards and many other kind of up to date tools is more efficiently than
ordinary teaching.

Conclusion
To conclude all things have drawbacks but people should obtain advantages of them, in
kindergarten nursery nurses should pay attention to the limit of using computers. And also
the adventages of using modern technologies are more than it's disadventages. An in early
childhood youngsters can improve their mathematical capacity and ability.Not only it helps to
advance but also qualify them to their future life.
