ABSTRACT
This article discusses personalized learning, which is now widely recognized by Methodists, educators, and mentors
as a new approach to education that contributes to the professional development of all learners are conducted. In the
personalized educational approach, it is taken into account that the student's personal experience, knowledge and
habits are related to learning methods, and they can learn faster, understand new concepts more easily, and improve
learning efficiency. Some recommendations are given that are expected to be effective as a result of such an approach
to education.

INTRODUCTION
Individualized learning is a methodology that caters to
a learner's strengths, needs, personal interests, and
learning goals in one learning environment. The term is
often used synonymously with differentiation, but
there is a key difference between the two.
Personalized learning empowers students over their
learning experience because personalized learning
takes into account their needs and learning goals.
A quick definition of person-centered learning has
been proposed by a group of organizations with
interests and/or investments in education, such as the

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. This definition
includes elements such as learner profile, individual
learning path, competency-based curriculum and
flexible learning environment [1.].
This approach, like all student-centered approaches,
requires the teacher to be a facilitator or guide rather
than an informant. Methods such as project-based
learning, problem-based learning, or situation-based
learning are often used as content learning methods
under a person-centered learning system.
DISCUSSION AND RESULT
Understanding students' prior knowledge, as well as
their academic strengths and weaknesses, is essential
in personalized learning. As guiding instructional
designers, creating opportunities for students and
teachers to self-assess and identify students' prior
knowledge is critical to developing both the learner
profile and learning pathway is important.
A key component of personalized learning is the idea
that students should have a sense of control over their
learning experience. Such an approach to education is
created as a result of the joint efforts of the student
and the teacher in determining the educational goals
of the students and the path to these goals. Giving
students a voice in how they achieve these goals
empowers them and engages them in their learning.
Providing opportunities for them to demonstrate
competence or mastery over learning objectives, along
with a flexible learning environment, is essential to this
approach.
Differentiation (action or process, differentiation) and
performance evaluation are key components in
creating
this
flexible
learning
environment.
Technology also makes personalized learning more
accessible and effective for both teachers and students
in all types of learning environments.
The importance of personalized learning is that if any
educational institution wants to improve learning
outcomes, personalized learning is one of the proven
ways to do so.Individual learning by acquiring and
connecting them to new concepts leads to a more
complete understanding of new concepts, increased
engagement, and improved retention of knowledge. In
short, personalized learning makes learning more
effective.
In person-centered learning, we can see how a generic
curriculum can be modified and tailored to each unique
user. Such changes make the learning process more
interesting, faster, and more effective. Even slight
personalization of the learning content makes a
difference, for example, by removing unnecessary
material and supporting learning practices that help
the learner the most. .

Individualized education has the following advantages.
First, it saves time, personalized learning reduces the
time it takes for a learner to engage with and
understand a new topic. It also removes content that
may no longer be relevant or unnecessary depending
on the learner's level of experience. serves to throw
away, saving time spent on learning concepts that
would otherwise not serve the student. Second, it
increases student engagement in class, and learning is
more fun if the content is both relevant and person-
centered. The student is more likely to interact with
and remember content focused on their current role,
projects, or work area. The next step is to stay
engaged. Third, it improves retention, if the content is
based on previous experience, the learner will retain
this information for a much longer period of time. A
personalized learning path connects each piece of the
puzzle together tray, if each piece of information
supports each other to connect with each other, the
student can better remember the information by
connecting it with existing knowledge. Fourth, the
student's motivation learning that is related to the
learner, his work, or his hobbies increases the learner's
motivation. Fifth, it improves educational results,
according to Methodists' research, a person-centered
educational approach gives good learning results. This
approach increases learning and provides relevant,
engaging, actionable, and memorable content.[2]
