ABSTRACT
In this article, the importance of the issue of national-spiritual heritage in the formation of a new value system, national
values and general criteria of national-spirituality were analyzed from an axiological point of view.
KEYWORDS

INTRODUCTION
The issue of national-spiritual heritage plays an
important role in the formation of a new system of
values. Because, the new value system relies not only
on today's cultural assets, but also on the centuries-old
history of our people, the knowledge and experiences
accumulated to this day, as well as the spiritual
heritage that has reached us from the past.
It is known that during its ancient past, our country has
experienced many unforgettable events, various trials
and difficulties, along with triumphant times, tragic
days as well. But one fact should be noted that every
state system existing in the territory of our country,
any social process - whether it is victory or defeat, rise
or decline - all this is an integral part of the history of
our nation. That is why we need to take all the stages

Indeed, any knowledge accumulated in the process of
social progress will serve as a historical experience for
the next generations. Such a phenomenon is called
succession from a dialectical point of view, providing
continuity and coherence between different stages of
development. This law is also inherent in the spiritual
and educational factors of the new value system.
Because the spiritual wealth of each people and nation
created at different times is also a holistic view of such
historical succession, forming its spiritual heritage.
In the literal sense, spiritual succession is extremely
important not only in the creative use of the past
spirituality of today's generation, but also in its
effective influence in the formation of new values in
the future.
METHODS
In the process of analyzing this article, methods of
historicity, systemicity, consistency and objectivity
were widely used. The scientific work of our republic
and foreign scientists has been established as a
methodological resource.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
It is necessary to emphasize that the national and
spiritual heritage of our people forms the basis of a
new system of values, a new spirituality that is taking
shape in our country today. Because, in our national-
spiritual heritage, the centuries-old aspirations, life
experiences of our people are reflected. This in turn
serves as a support for our self-awareness at any stage
of our progress. The new system of values, which is
taking shape in our country at this time, is also taking
shape, relying on our spiritual heritage, serving as an
important criterion for its development, a spiritual and
educational factor.
If we approach our national-spiritual heritage
scientifically, we are primarily based on axiological
criteria. Because, the concept of national spiritual
heritage is inextricably linked with national values and
forms an integral part of it. Analysis from an axiological
point of view makes it possible to correctly assess the
extent to which spiritual heritage is formed in a certain
period, its place at one stage or another of progress.
Any reform in the field of spirituality, in addition to
bringing with it certain updates inherent in the realities
of the Times, also retains certain elements of the
spirituality that precedes it, and it becomes a spiritual
heritage. But it should also be remembered that the
axiological approach also indicates the presence of
general criteria of national value and national-
spirituality. In our opinion, there are the main criteria
for the new system of values that are being built in our
country today, forming the core of spiritual and
educational factors. They are as follows:

a) The criterion of humanism is a general principle for
value and spirituality, which takes into account the
freedom of a person to live, develop, and live a happy
life in the society, the superiority of not only an
individual person, but also the national interests of the
whole nation and society.
“The National idea of the new Uzbekistan, which we
are building, will first of all be the idea of humanity,
goodness, creativity”, emphasizes the head of our
state. [2,7] This in turn testifies to the fact that special
attention is paid to the importance of this criterion in
our society today.
b) the criterion of popularism and patriotism forms the
basis of spiritual and educational factors. These two
concepts are in essence close to each other and are
associated with social activity, such as patriotism
–
loving the motherland, ardoring it, fighting for its
prosperity and independence, while popularism forms
feelings of national pride, national pride in people. So
the prosperity of the Motherland, its progress, first of
all, depends on its citizens, in particular the younger
generation, who lives and matures in it. That is why
today the level of social activity of our citizens is
important in the formation of new values in our
society. In particular, it is extremely important to what
extent feelings such as patriotism and popularism are
formed in young people.
s) the criterion of development is also considered as
important as the criteria of humanism, popularism and
patriotism. These criteria cannot contradict each other.
Because, progress should serve not only for progress,
but also for the benefit of person, nation and people,
as well as for the prosperity of the motherland.
Therefore, it is impossible to harm a person or a
motherland in the path of progress.
Progressive values are based on worldly knowledge
and are the main factors in the development of
Science, Technology, economic and social prosperity of
society, the development of our national economy in
accordance with world economy. [3,160]
CONCLUSION
In addition to its own law of internal intensive
development when it comes to the issue of spirituality,
we must also note the presence of external factors
that affect progress. That is, socio-economic
conditions at a certain stage of the development of
society also have a certain effect on spiritual and
Educational Progress.
Proper, spirituality is the product of a person's inner
desires. But the ideas, thoughts and views associated
with him, his creative activity in general are influenced
by the phenomena of the outside world in which he
lives, and at the same time socio-economic conditions
in society, political processes. So, we cannot
understand the progress of spirituality in isolation from

Universal (socio-economic, political-legal, technical
and other such) problems in social existence. Because
without them, it is impossible not only the
