Principles and guidelines for developing students' intercultural communication competence
Currently, in the developed world, intercultural communication competence is of great importance for higher education students, enabling them to communicate effectively with representatives of different nationalities. Therefore, the development of students' intercultural communication competence is becoming a necessity of the time. This competence enables students to communicate effectively with representatives of different cultures, respect others' opinions, and accept diverse perspectives. This article highlights several principles: firstly, the principle of openness and tolerance, which allows students to learn about various cultures and develop a positive attitude towards them. Secondly, the principle of learning and exchanging experiences, fosters intercultural communication by facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experiences among students. The implementation of these principles and concepts serves as an effective tool for shaping intercultural communication competence, making a significant contribution to student’s personal and professional development.
Reading culture: socio-philosophical analysis
The article sets out the socio-philosophical point of view of the author that the culture of reading, which is considered relevant in society today, is the basis for the formation of the thinking of young people, and in what area and what kind of literature should be read. An attempt has been made to objectively analyze the state of the processes of the role of the library and new information technologies in the development of the reading culture of young people. The state of literature related to reading is emphasized, and what attention is paid to the promotion of reading in bookstores of Uzbekistan, including in the city of Namangan. It is noted that the phenomenon of reading is one of the little-studied areas, a conclusion is drawn about the formation of a culture of reading and thinking among young people.
The history and theory of folklore as a form of worldview
This article explores the history and theoretical foundations of folklore as a form of worldview, focusing on the development of oral folk art in Karakalpak culture. Folklore, which emerged as a primary means of artistic expression, played a crucial role in reflecting the social, economic, and political life of the people. The study examines the syncretic nature of early artistic forms and their evolution into distinct literary genres—lyric, epic, and drama. Special attention is given to Karakalpak folklore, its genre classification, and its function in shaping national identity and cultural continuity. The study concludes that folklore serves as both an artistic and philosophical means of understanding reality, preserving historical memory, and transmitting cultural values through generations.
Issues of filling the gaps in the legislation on the election of the chairman of the people's assembly of the republic of karakalpakstan
This article provides for the abolition of the procedure of obtaining the consent of the mayors of the districts and cities to the holding of elections to the post of chairman of a local council, the change of the term of office of the chairman of a local council from three to five years, the establishment of the constitutional status of local councils as an institution of civil society, and the amendment and addition of the relevant chapters of the Constitution.
The comparison of the foreign experience of leading states in using the institution of petitions and complaints
The article examines the institution of petitions and complaints in criminal proceedings, with particular attention paid to the experience of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. A comparative analysis of regulatory and legal regulation was conducted, the distinctive features and prospects for improving legislation were identified. Particular attention is paid to the status of the institute of petitions and complaints, procedures for submitting, considering and resolving these procedural actions at the pre-trial and trial stages of criminal proceedings. Recommendations have been proposed to borrow successful practices from the legislation of Kazakhstan and Russia to strengthen the legal protection of participants in the criminal process in Uzbekistan.
Forms, components, and main tasks of organizing military social work
This article provides a philosophical analysis of military social work, including its organizational forms, components, and main tasks. The factors influencing the effectiveness of military social work are discussed. Military social work is interpreted as an activity aimed at ensuring the rights and privileges of military personnel, creating favorable social conditions for them to effectively fulfill their duties.
Linguistic features of ghazals
Sakkokiy is considered a poet who gained fame in his time for the simplicity and comprehensibility of the language of his ghazals and odes. A distinctive feature of Sakkokiy's works is that he used Persian and Tajik vocabulary.
Word Puzzles Technique Designed for Developing Pupils’ Productive and Comprehension Skills
This research aims to determine whether word puzzles technique is a helpful tool for improving pupils' productivity and cognitive abilities in the classroom of the primary level. Word searches, is an example of word puzzles that aims to captivate pupils engagingly and entertainingly while fostering their language and critical thinking skills.
The current research delves into how word puzzles can enhance pupils to learn the four learning skills: listening, speaking reading and writing. It also aims to develop pupils’ skills of thinking and problem-solving. The research evaluates pupils' development in sentence construction, complicated text comprehension, and vocabulary retention through a battery of classroom activities and tests.
In light of these aims, the research’s null hypothesis has been formulated to be tested. The design of one group is adopted and pre and post-tests are used. The sample includes (30) female pupils who are randomly selected from Asia primary private school in Mosul city.
The results show that word puzzles improve pupils' production and comprehension abilities and pique their desire to learn a new language. Findings from this study support the idea that word puzzles can be a useful supplemental tool for language teachers looking for new ways to help their pupils become more proficient speakers.

This article explores the theoretical foundations of cognitive linguistics, as well as the relationship between language and the mind, and analyzes relevant data to provide a comprehensive understanding of this field.
Distinctive features of plot types in the novel "IMOM MOTURIDIY"
This article examines the plot and compositional features of Luqmon Borikhan’s novel Imom Moturidiy. The narrative is constructed using chronological, retrospective, and concentric plot types, each distinguished by specific conflicts and dramatic developments. The study explores the novel’s key plotlines, particularly those of Imom Moturidiy and Vosiq La’liy, Idris Shomiy, and Khalid Khalaj. Additionally, it analyzes the role of artistic detail and stylistic elements in shaping the novel’s narrative dynamics and psychological depth. Through its plot construction, the author harmonizes historical reality with artistic truth. From a literary perspective, this article aims to investigate the novel’s poetics by elucidating the unique characteristics of its plot structure.
Youth labor migration in Uzbekistan
The process of labor migration in Uzbekistan plays a crucial role in shaping the country’s demographic and economic landscape. This article analyzes the main motives, trends, and consequences of external labor migration from Uzbekistan. In particular, factors contributing to migration - economic problems, shortage of jobs, and the search for better living conditions - are considered. In addition, the social and economic impact of migration, including the experience of returning labor migrants and their contribution to the local economy through remittances, is also analyzed. The study also examines the policies and programs implemented by the Government of Uzbekistan to regulate labor migration.

Women's Rights in the Shadow of HIV/AIDS: A Critical Analysis of Realities and Struggles
This study critically examines the complex intersection of women’s rights and the realities of living with HIV/AIDS. While significant progress has been made in advocating for gender equality and the empowerment of women, women living with HIV face unique challenges that compound the struggle for basic human rights. This research delves into how societal stigma, health inequalities, and discrimination exacerbate the vulnerabilities of women living with HIV, hindering their access to healthcare, legal protections, and social support. The study utilizes qualitative methods, including interviews and case studies, to capture the lived experiences of women affected by HIV/AIDS. Through this lens, it explores how gender-based violence, economic dependence, and cultural norms intersect with HIV-related challenges, further marginalizing women. The findings highlight the persistent tension between the universal rights of women and the harsh realities imposed by the HIV/AIDS epidemic, calling for a more nuanced approach to advocacy, policy reform, and healthcare initiatives that center women’s needs and experiences.

Investment Dynamics of the Samarkand Region: Analysis and Forecast Using a Polynomial Model
The economic development of any region relies heavily on investment since it affects growth along with employment and infrastructure development. The research examines the investment trends in Samarkand region and generates predictions through polynomial modeling. We build a polynomial regression model based on historical investment data to detect investment trends and estimate future investment directions. The investigation determines model precision through comparison against different forecasting methods and examination of primary economic elements that influence investment. The results present essential information for policymakers together with investors and economic planners to make well-informed regional investment strategy decisions.

Problems of preservation of archaeological monuments
In this article, the little-studied problem such as the preservation of cultural heritage of archeological monuments through various methods of museumifaction is focused on.
The scientific activity of scientists from different countries on the museumization of real archeological monuments, the history of the problem is covered in detail. The author provides a comparative analysis of the work done on the museumization of real estate in different countries around the world and in Uzbekistan.
The research work also considers the main aspects of the study of archaeological sites and identifies its place and role in modern practice. The need for a set of measures for the preservation and museuming of archaeological monuments of the region is theoretically justified.
Reducing the consequences of climate change: an international and local experience
Climate change refers to long-term changes in temperature, precipitation, wind directions, and other climate parameters on the Earth's surface. This process is mainly accelerated by human activities, especially those related to industrial production, agriculture and deforestation. Stylistic characteristics of the use of numerical components in phraseological units
This article explores the stylistic characteristics of phraseological units containing numerical components, with a particular focus on their use in artistic works. Drawing upon the works of prominent Uzbek researchers such as B. Abdirasulov and A.V. Kunin, the paper discusses the expressive power of numerical phraseological units in various languages, including Uzbek and English. It highlights how these units, used in both written and spoken speech, reflect the emotional and stylistic layers of language. The study emphasizes the role of numerical expressions in enriching the aesthetic qualities of literary texts, particularly through the example of Abdulhamid Cho‘lpon’s Kecha va Kunduz and Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. By categorizing these expressions and analyzing their impact, the article offers valuable insights into the importance of phraseological units in literature, aiming to help students gain a deeper understanding of literary works.
Literature and Buddhism in the Kamakura period
The Kamakura period (1185–1333) was a period of great change in the political, cultural, and social life of Japan, beginning with the establishment of the Kamakura shogunate by Minamoto no Yoritomo. During this period, the samurai rose to the top of political power, and with the development of the feudal system, literature is also visible.Instead of the aristocratic and elegant literature of the Heian period, the Kamakura market was dominated by military tales, historical chronicles, and Buddhist philosophical works. In general, all events and feelings in human life are the main topic of literature.In 1192, the great leader of the "eastern" (Kanto) samurai detachments - Minamoto Yoritomo, after a long struggle, declares himself sei-taishogun, that is, the "supreme military leader" of Japan, thus the true and hereditary becomes a ruler. becomes the true and hereditary ruler of the whole country. Nevertheless, the Heian kings retain their supreme authority, but in fact begin to play almost exclusively the role of the "high priests" of their people - the supreme ministers of Shintoism. Literature began to be read not only by new people, but also lost its previous, essentially more exotic character and acquired a "wide" readership. A new author, a new reader, a new environment revived the new literature. And the main reason for this was the day.
Empirical study of the psychoemotional area of patients with thyroid disease
This article presents a review of the impact of thyroid disease on the psychoemotional state of patients in various research studies. In the study, 40 patients with thyroid disease and 40 healthy people were administered the Giessen questionnaire, and the results were analyzed.
