Abstract.
Isolated from the medicinal plant Kalonchoye degremona and
molecularly identified Bacillus amyloliquefaciens - UzMU 22 local bacterial
strain Verticillium dahliae, Alternaria alternata, Fusarium solani, Fusarium
oxysporum, Candida albicans pathogenic fungi Candida albicans have high
antagonistic properties. Among pathogenic bacteria, such as Escherichia coli,
Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, the strain Bacillus subtilis
showed stronger antagonistic properties compared to other pathogenic bacteria.

It is known that today biological preparations based on live cultures
of endophytic bacteria that synthesize bioactive secondary metabolites are
widely used in the biological protection of agriculture, as well as in obtaining
various hydrolytic enzyme preparations and probiotics [1-3]. Especially
important are antibiotics, improper nutrition, chemical preparations that inhibit
the protection of normal intestinal flora from pathogenic bacteria and fungi
causing various diseases, participate in the synthesis of several vitamins
belonging to the vitamin K and vitamin B groups, and
probiotic preparations
containing living bacteria that are beneficial for the div
and are used to
prevent the development of dysbacteriosis due to the weakening of the
organism due to various infections and the multiplication of conditionally
pathogenic microbes.
Currently, endophytic microorganisms synthesizing secondary metabolites
can be isolated from many medicinal plants and widely used in agriculture,
pharmaceuticals, and medicine [3-5]. In our previous studies, a total of 45
bacterial isolates were isolated from the internal tissues of the roots, stems, and
leaves of medicinal plants found in field and household conditions, such as

plantain, chamomile, chamomile, chicory, kalanchoe, lemon balm, and mint,
which are included in the pharmacopoeial list. The degree of affinity of isolated
endophytic bacterial isolates for 1% casein and 1% starch, as well as their
cultural and morphological properties, such as hydrolysis zones, color,
transparency, edges, and surface areas of colonies, were studied.
Objective of the work:
To study the antifungal and antibacterial properties
of the bacterial strain Bacillus amyloliquefaciens - UzMU 22.
Research and methods.
Anti-fungal activity of the Bacillus
amyloliquefaciens -UzMU 22 strain against some pathogenic fungi and
antibacterial activity against pathogenic bacteria was revealed.
Received results and their analysis.
It is known that the possibility of
isolating endophytic bacteria that synthesize secondary metabolites from
medicinal plants and determining their antagonistic properties against
phytopathogenic fungi and sensitivity to various antibiotics, as well as creating
new generations of biological preparations based on mono- or mixed culture
associations and their wide use in agriculture, is being implemented [1-4].
This study, the study of antifungal and antibacterial properties against
various pathogenic fungi and bacteria that enter the div, is one of the urgent
tasks from a scientific and practical point of view. Accordingly, the anti-fungal
properties of the strain KB.amyloliquefaciens - UzMU 22 , isolated from
alanchoye degremon, Verticillium dahliae, Candida albicans, Alternaria
alternata, Fusarium solani and Fusarium oxysporum against pathogens, as well
as against pathogenic bacteria Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis and
Pseudomonas aeruginosa, were studied.

Bacillus subtilis has stronger antagonistic properties than other pathogenic
bacteria. The obtained results show that this strain can be used as a probiotic in
animal husbandry, as well as a non-pathogenic environmentally friendly strain
in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Today, biological preparations consisting of anti-inflammatory and
immunostimulating biologically active additives from medicinal plants growing
in our country are imported and produced from foreign countries. Because in
our republic, the production of broad-specific antibiotic preparations and
biologically active additives based on endophytic bacterial isolates isolated from
medicinal plants has not been established. Therefore, in our country, the
isolation of highly active local strains of endophytic bacteria that synthesize
secondary metabolites with antibacterial and antifungal properties from
medicinal plants, the study of their antifungal, antibacterial, and enzyme-
synthesizing abilities, as well as their implementation into practice, is one of the
urgent tasks from a scientific and practical point of view.
From the above results, it can be concluded that the local bacterial strain
Bacillus amyloliquefaciens - UzMU 22 , isolated from the medicinal plant
Kalanchoe degremona, showed strong antagonistic properties to pathogenic
fungi Verticillium dahliae, Alternaria alternata, Fusarium solani , and Fusarium
oxysporum , especially to the pathogenic fungus Candida albicans , and from
pathogenic bacteria Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, and Pseudomonas
aeruginosa, the strain Bacillus subtilis showed strong antagonistic properties
compared to other pathogenic bacteria.
Thus, the strain Bacillus amyloliquefaciens - UzMU 22 according to its
antifungal and antibacterial properties, taking into account the obtained results
on an immunostimulating biologically active additive with high anti-
inflammatory activity, high antifungal and antibacterial properties, can be
recommended as a local probiotic in the processes of growth and development
of foals in animal husbandry, as well as in the process of intensifying the
gastrointestinal tract.
