CHEESE (P. SATIVUM) VARIETIES.

Annotation
. Based on the results of the study conducted in this article, the
inheritance of pod length in the F2 generation obtained from the hybridization
of pea (P. sativum) variety samples intended for cultivation in irrigated lands
was analyzed.

. В данной статье на основе результатов проведенного
исследования проанализировано наследование длины бобов в поколении

, полученном в результате скрещивания сортовых образцов гороха (P.
sativum), предназначенных для посева на орошаемых землях.

Interoduktion
.
The sharp increase in the population from year to year is
leading to an increase in the demand for food products, including protein.
Meeting this demand is achieved by creating varieties of crops with valuable
economic characteristics. Taking this into account, it is important to create new
varieties of green chickpeas suitable for irrigated lands, capable of producing
high-quality grain.
Hybridization, which is considered one of the most powerful methods in the
selection process, is used to create new varieties.
Hybridization is the most fundamental way to direct the process of formation
of forms in plants. New varieties of crops are created by selecting from hybrid
populations. As a result of hybridization, a complex process of formation occurs,
during which not only the initial addition (assembly) of parental characters but
also completely new qualities (characters and properties) can develop.

Therefore, hybridization is an important method of directional formation, and
it is possible to create desired valuable varieties from hybrid populations (starting
material).
Hybridization is the main method for creating starting material for selection.
The purpose and objectives of the research
are to create high-yielding,
high-grain primary sources of edible blue peas in the irrigated lands of the
Zarafshan oasis. The task was to observe the yield indicators of the available
varietal samples and hybrid lines in the edible blue pea collection, select lines
that showed high-yield results, and use them as primary sources.
Research methodology and methods
. 60 collection varieties of blue peas
brought from the Scientific Research Institute "Plant Genetic Resources",
Scientific Research Institute "Southern Agriculture", Scientific Research Institute
"Grains and Legumes", Scientific Research Institute "Lalmikor Agriculture", as
well as from Russia and South Korea were planted in the conditions of meadow
grey soils of the scientific seed farm "FARBOMA SELEKT" located in the Jomboy
district of the Samarkand region. In our research, blue pea varieties were
crossed and hybrid generations were obtained.
2 hybrid generations
of blue peas and 16 hybrid generations were planted and the
heritability of the pod length trait formed in them was analyzed using the
Mahmod and Kramer formula. The results of the traits and characteristics
obtained from the hybrid generation were evaluated for heritability using the
method developed by Robinson et al. In this, the heritability was divided into
low (0-30%), medium (30-60%), and high (60-100%) indicators according to
the scale.
Results and Discussion
When selecting parental forms for hybridization, it
is important to pay attention mainly to productivity indicators.
Proper selection of F2 hybrid generations for valuable economic traits
yields good results in the selection process.
According to the results analyzed during the research, it was observed that
the pod length of the F
2
hybrid generations of the common blue pea ranged from
3 cm to 7 cm, the coefficient of variation (V-variation) from 1.1% to 7.4%, and
the heritability of the trait (h
2
%) from 18% to 86% ( see Table 1 ).

Conclusion In the F

of blue peas, the heritability of pod length h

was higher than 60%, and segregation according to Mendel's second law was
manifested in this trait. The F
