Abstract:
. This article presents connection between the field of image-
stylistics and the field of education, the role and importance of image-stylistics
in creating the pedagogical image of a modern teacher.
Keywords:
Imageology (the field of image-stylistics), pedagogical image,
the pedagogical image of a modern teacher, influence of teachers' image on the
quality of teaching, the role of appearance in educational process.
Imageology, that is, the field of image-stylistics, is closely related to the field
of education.
Pedagogical image - the harmony and correspondence between a teacher's
spiritual and moral character and their external appearance.
Modern educators, along with conducting the comprehensive educational
process correctly, must also pay attention to their appearance. By increasing
people's interest in the teaching profession through appearance, it is possible to
attract attention and attention, especially to students, which increases the
effectiveness of the educational process. Teachers should not only possess
pedagogical skills but also be able to please students. When considering the
image of a teacher, we understand that "the teaching profession should possess
high personal responsibility and social activity, spiritual and educational
competence, a broad outlook on the scientific and creative world, love for young
people and those around them, the presence of a desire for self-development
from a pedagogical point of view, strictness towards oneself and others, a high
level of general pedagogical culture and ethics, and a high level of professional
competence."
The pedagogical image of a modern teacher is the harmony between the
teacher's inner world, their humanity, and their outward appearance.
Indeed, when a teacher is expressing themselves and forming an initial
impression of themselves, it is advisable to consider the following important
concepts. The so-called "non-verbal" image is related to the extent to which a
teacher can utilize positive qualities such as facial expressions, gestures, and
posture. Good qualities help to quickly adapt to various situations and establish
communicative connections with people. Another important aspect of a
teacher's image is the "verbal" image, that is, their vocabulary. Speech
productivity lies in its flexibility, expressiveness, and originality. Image - the

creation of a stereotypical image of a specific object in the consciousness of the
people. It should be noted that an image is the image of an organization or other
social object, in which people's opinions arise in relation to a specific person.
Also, the desire to evoke positive opinions about oneself among social groups or
the self-expression of each person in front of members of society.
Every teacher determines their style of dress, knows the colors that suit
them, and, knowing these, allows them to behave independently in the learning
process. The teacher's appearance primarily attracts students' attention and
thereby increases their love for the subject and interest in the profession.
The pedagogical image of a modern teacher is understood as the
connection between the teacher's moral and spiritual feelings and their external
appearance. A teacher who is not up-to-date and careless about their
appearance is not recognized as a modern teacher by people around them, as
well as by the collective (other teachers) and students, due to their lack of
clothing style, excessive makeup, and improper use of accessories. Additionally,
negative traits found in some educators such as arrogance, anger, rudeness, and
speaking from the outside of people diminish their status.
In this regard, the role and importance of image-stylistics in creating the
pedagogical image of a modern teacher among teachers is significant. Because
it's not difficult to understand a modern teacher's culture and character by
looking at their appearance. For example, the correct choice of clothing style,
adherence to dress code while maintaining a modern appearance, the harmony
of clothing colors, the normality of accessories and their use in accordance with
clothing, and the correct posture of the div through clothing style, facial
expressions, pantomime, gestures, proper makeup, and attention to hairstyles
should be taken into account. We can say that a teacher who embodies all of this
does not correspond to the modern pedagogical image.
Therefore, in any educational institution or organization, if a person
possesses the image of a modern educator, they undoubtedly serve as an
example for other teachers and students around them. For any teacher to
provide modern knowledge, the teacher themselves must possess modern
knowledge and a modern image.
In the pedagogical influence on students, the role of appearance is crucial to
prevent any feelings of disrespect towards the teacher in the learning process.
Because the better the teacher's pedagogical image, the more effective the level
of students' learning. Every educator should analyze their results in the daily
teaching process and compare new educational ideas with previous ones,

enhancing their effectiveness. Also, to further strengthen the quality of
education, it is necessary to consider identifying pedagogical and psychological
problems and finding convenient ways to solve them.
Every teacher's appearance reflects their worldview, taste, and self-respect.
Our appearance and image open the door to achievements for us. Therefore, the
proverb "He welcomes you according to your clothes, sees you off according to
your words" is not said in vain among our people. If we look at this through the
image of a teacher, it means that fellow teachers or students should be
respectful based on our appearance or the content of our speech during the
teaching process.
Any person, whether they are a teacher or a holder of another profession,
when expressing themselves as a person, first of all, their appearance is taken
into account, and it is only by seeing how others think about them that one can
determine their culture, manners, behavior, and desires. Similarly, teachers can
effectively influence students through their unique pedagogical image. We even
witness how people are greeted based on appearance in unfamiliar places. If we
consider this situation in the field of education, if any new teacher among the
collective (collaborating colleagues) is ideal for the image of a modern teacher,
that is, in the correct choice of their style of dress, matching colors, the normal
use of accessories, and makeup, then this teacher and other teachers want to get
to know him closely, exchange ideas, and even students want to see and hear his
lesson process. Because we humans begin to form our initial opinion about an
unfamiliar person by looking at their appearance.
In general, every teacher should have an image they like. Conversely, if a
teacher is dissatisfied with their style of dress, this negatively impacts the
teaching process. In such cases, the teacher exhibits feelings of self-doubt and
fear. Because the teacher receives energy, strength, and confidence in their
pedagogical influence on students from their clothes and created image, and
people around them clearly feel this.
