Service sector in Uzbekistan
In Uzbekistan, this area is one of the priorities of state policy. In recent
years, major changes have been observed in the fields of banks, shopping
centers, IT companies, public services and tourism. For example, many public
services are provided online through the “my.gov.uz” portal. Also, services are
becoming faster and more convenient through electronic payment systems and
mobile applications.
The government's incentives for small and medium-sized businesses are
also helping to expand the services sector. In particular, modern service centers
established by young entrepreneurs are playing an important role in meeting
the needs of the population.
The service sector is of strategic importance for the economy of any
country. Its proper management and consistent development can accelerate
economic growth, create new jobs, and improve the standard of living of the
population. The reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan in this area are helping
to improve the quality of services and fully meet the needs of society.
