Literature allows an individual to step back in time and find out about life on
Earth from those who walked before us. We are able to gather a more robust
understanding of culture and have a greater appreciation of them. We learn through the
ways history is recorded, within the types of manuscripts and through speech itself.
Literature may be a reflection of humanity and the way for us to grasp one another. By
taking note of the voice of another person we will begin to work out how that individual
thinks. I feel that literature is vital due to its purpose and in a very society, which is
becoming increasingly detached from human interaction, novels create a conversation.
Important aspects of Uzbek literature. Uzbek literature, the div of written works
produced by the Uzbek people of Central Asia, most of whom live in Uzbekistan, with
smaller populations in Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan. The literature and art of
Uzbekistan are called one of the brightest and wonderful pages of the history of the
world’s artistic culture. There are four periods of Uzbek literature: they are the classical
period, the tsarist colonial period, the soviet period, independence and beyond. Each
period hasits own writers and poetries and hey entered new theories and unusual
things.to literature. Every book, poetry, and ghazal in Uzbek literature has national
characteristics that set it apart from other literatures. Sovits crushed the revolts of the
Uzbek and took full control of Turkistan people, they increasingly suppressed native
literature, culture and education. As an example, in spite of those difficulties, Uzbek
literature was ready to maintain its spirit. Fitrat, Cholpan, Qadiri, Elbek (MashriqYunus
Oghli), and plenty of other poets and writers published their best works during the 1920s
46
and early 1930s, risking their lives to specific the voice of the Uzbek nation as they
turned their attention to critiquing the ideas and social practices of the Soviet regime.
Cholpan’s poetry became a source of lasting inspiration for later Uzbek writers, not least
due to his innovative use of the latest varieties of expression. He broke from the past by
rejecting the mysticism that dominates Uzbek poems of the classical period, and his
poems exhibit a simplified, straightforward language that's freed from foreign
borrowings. Cholpan also appealed strongly to Uzbek national identity. The poem “Bas
endi!” (“That’s Enough!”) in Uyghonish, for example, expresses the primary awakenings
of revolt against the Russian occupation:
That’s enough!
There’s finally a limit.
To all these insults, this humiliation! The edge that’s arrived at bit by bit Is only self-
doubt and deprivation! This last stone I hold in my hand I long to fling at my nemesis.
This last tear that my eye contains, I long to shed for my lifelong aims. Alisher Navoi is
an impressive thinker and great poet as well as a famous literary patron of his time. He
authored various works in which he revealed his personal sentiments, thoughts, and
indeed the Uzbek nation's troubles. His lifelong aim was to assist and enhance the Uzbek
people’s living conditions. Alisher Navoi devoted the latter a part of his life to poetry
and scholarship, writing first in Persian and so in Chagatai; an Eastern Turkish dialect.
The language of poetry was Persian, Alisher Navoi was the primary poet to put in
writing during this dialect. Furthermore, these ideas also supported by Gulhayo’s (2020)
“Traditions and pecularities of Alisher Navoi in the Uzbek Ghazal of the xx century”.
She admitted that Navoi did not live long but he left big treasure whole world and put
forward the global problems in his poetry.
English literature refers to the gathering of written literary work in Great Britain and
its colonies from the 7
th
century to this day. As is also apparent, it's a good and much-
loved history where it's chronologically categorized into several eras: Old English
literature (c.658-1100), Middle English language literature (1100-1500), English
Renaissance (1500-1660), Neo-Classical Period (1660— 1798), 19th-century literature,
English literature since 1901 which has modern, post-modern, and 20

literature. Among the various writers from different parts of country speaking world,
people who have immensely contributed to the event of English literature are
Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Bronte, Adeline Virginia Stephen Woolf, William
Wordsworth, W.B. Keats, Frost. The foremost known features of English literature
include its wit, depiction of manners, disparity between classes, themes being stressed in
plots and characterization. There are a pair of characteristics that make English literature
unique. English comprises more words than most languages, and those words have
originated from a variety of places throughout the world. Shakespeare was a master at
using nation language to compose great literature, using its wealth of words to compose
brilliant speeches and witty puns. According to Thomas Colbyry (2017), English is rich
in words that adjust slightly in meaning or that have differing connotations (subtle
meanings).
American literature is a notion that emerged in the recent past. It is the production of
literary work written in the context of America portraying, American culture and themes.
America, originally being a British colony, was a part of English literature until the
country gain independence and each aspect of the country: economy, education,
literature, arts, culture, and social aspects changed and new brands brooded. The origin
of American literature dates back to the first 17
th
century. American literature was
largely shaped by the history of the country and revolutionary ideas emerged during civil
and revolutionary wars. American literature is commonly called far more realistic in
portraying characters. Melville, Henry David Thoreau, Edgar Allen Poe, poet, Ernest
Hemmingway, writer, Maya Angelou. This is often just a small few the good names in
American literature. A way of individualism and celebration of the individual experience
is one of the amongst the central features of yank literature. American literature may be
characterized by its many sorts of regional literature. As stated by Harry Olufunwa
(2014), any study of themes and techniques in U.S. literature depends crucially on how
American literature is itself defined. This is vital because it can be categorised in a
variety of ways through the utilisation of different criteria. These include Native
American literature, African American literature, Chicano literature and also the
literature of varied diasporas. American literature can also be categorised along
48
ideological lines, reflecting the way in which literary texts portray the major
philosophical, religious and other concerns of specific eras.
There are some similarities and differences between American and British
literature. The common tendency of American literature is to be focused on politics,
economics, and social status. Satire, sarcasm, and cynicism can be also often find their
way into the works of American authors. British literature of the same period mostly
invokes romance, human values, ideals, and manners, although class differences are often
discussed or referenced in some meaningful way. There is a common thought that British
writers’ works come “from the heart,” while American writers are more cool - headed and
cynical. At the same time, there is much diversity within the wells of both British writers
and American writers, and this diversity should be acknowledged. In general, it’s perhaps
most useful to compare two novels within English literature or American literature that
date back to the same period or a stage of country development.
