INTRODUCTION
Music education plays an important role in preserving
cultural heritage and improving the spirituality of society.
Developing the ability of future music teachers to acquire
independent knowledge is one of the main tasks of the
modern education system. The Resolution of the President
of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Development of
Musical Art and Improving the System of Training
Personnel in the Field” of April 29, 2019, identified the
development of music education and its improvement
based on innovative approaches as one of the urgent tasks
[1]. Professor N.T. Juraev noted that “Independent learning
skills for music teachers expand their creative potential and
help them adapt to the requirements of modern pedagogy”
[2]. Indeed, independent learning is the process of an
individual
acquiring
knowledge
independently
in
accordance with their own needs and goals, which is of
great importance in the modern education system.
Especially for future music teachers, the ability to learn
independently is one of the key factors in achieving success
in pedagogical activities.
METHODS
The modern education system aims to train students in the
skills of independent search, analysis and application of
knowledge, rather than mastering ready-made knowledge.
In today's educational processes, it is important to develop
the skills of independent teaching and independent
learning. The research and practical skills carried out in
this direction are of great merit to T. Jalolov, S.
Hasanboyev, Q. Raimkulov, N. Turayev, Kh. Yusupov, G.
Usmonov, R. Qurbonov, B. Saidov, D. Yuldasheva.

ABSTRACT
This article analyzes the development of a model for the development of independent knowledge of future music teachers and its
scientific foundations. Due to the increasing importance of independent learning in the modern educational process, innovativ e
technologies, interactive teaching methods and strategies for the formation of independent learning skills in music pedagogy are
of great importance. The article provides specific proposals for the main components of the independent learning process and its
effective development.

emphasizes the importance of modern teaching methods,
including non-traditional methods of independent learning,
in improving the quality and effectiveness of education.
Sh.N. Khodzhikulova’s “Methodology of forming basic
competencies in students in the process of independent
learning (on the example of economic education)” analyzes
the pedagogical possibilities of gradually developing basic
competencies in the process of world education and
forming students' practical skills in the process of
independent learning, and formulates the theoretical
foundations of independent learning.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
It is known that the use of modern technologies in
developing the ability of future music teachers to acquire
independent
knowledge
gives
effective
results.
Independent learning is characterized by the following
aspects:
Develops creative thinking - a person learns to create
innovations based on his knowledge.
Increases responsibility and discipline - the learner feels
responsible for his results.
Forms the principle of lifelong learning - a person's need
for constant learning is strengthened.
Adapts to modern professional requirements - it is
necessary to constantly learn innovations in pedagogical
activities.
As Professor A.I. Rakhimov noted, “The effectiveness of
the educational process can be increased through an
experimental approach in music education. Because such
an approach serves to form students' independent learning
abilities” [4].
In particular, the use of multimedia materials in music
education increases the effectiveness of the educational
process. The use of interactive lessons, online courses, and
virtual laboratories is of great importance for modern
music teachers. We can see the importance of independent
learning for music teachers in the following:
Strengthens creative and technical skills - allows you to
master new methods and techniques.
Increases the opportunity to introduce innovations into
pedagogical activities - allows you to use interactive
teaching methods and modern technologies.
Enriches practical experience - helps to apply new
approaches in the teaching process.
As we noted above, today digital technologies are taking
independent learning to a new level. In this regard, various
online learning platforms expand the possibilities for
independent learning, thereby strengthening the ability to
self-assess and analyze. Students will have the opportunity
to choose resources that are suitable for them.
We believe that it is appropriate to offer the following
model and scientific basis for developing independent
learning skills of music teachers. This model is aimed at
forming and developing the ability of future music teachers
to learn independently.
Stages of the independent learning process:
Choosing sources of knowledge - students should work
with reliable and scientific sources (books, articles, online
courses) for independent learning.
Planning and time management - developing an individual
educational program for planning independent learning.
Self-assessment and analysis - regularly assessing learning
outcomes and checking the depth of knowledge.
Practical application - integrating the learned knowledge
into musical practice and pedagogical activities.
Using innovative technologies - using digital resources,
multimedia textbooks and online platforms.
We believe that developing motivating approaches to
developing independent learning for future music
education teachers is also effective.
Creating interactive learning platforms – Establishing
special online learning platforms for music teachers in
higher education institutions of Uzbekistan (for example,
systems such as Moodle, Coursera).
Self-assessment and reflection system – students should
create electronic tests, portfolios and independent creative
projects to assess their knowledge.

Developing a mentoring system – creating a system of
leadership by experienced teachers for music teachers in
higher education institutions.
Increasing practical training – future teachers should be
encouraged to independently develop their knowledge by
teaching in schools or art centers.
CONCLUSION
Using gamification methods – developing online games
and tests to teach music theory and practical training in an
interactive and interesting way.
Developing the ability of future music teachers to acquire
independent knowledge is of great importance in the
modern education system. This process can be made more
effective by using interactive and innovative approaches.
Independent teaching methods should be actively
introduced in the music education system of Uzbekistan.
The development of individual educational plans for
students in pedagogical institutes and conservatories
should be put into practice, and in this process, innovative
technologies and digital tools should be used; there is a
need to develop a system for monitoring the process of
independent learning and evaluating its results. Also,
strengthening the connection between theory and practice
is an extremely important factor in combining musical
creativity and pedagogical activity. Of course, the models
and proposals we have considered will serve to develop the
ability of future music teachers to acquire independent
learning.
