Abstract:
This article gives information about students in higher education their
preparation of professional activities and process of forming mechanism of inde-
pendent education and fulfilling this task, ways and directions.
Key words:
Uninterrupted education, information, modern education, creative
work, Independent work, individual, intellectual, technology, education.
Today, the main tasks of modern education are considered to be the develop-
ment of independent critical thinking, the search for information, cultural enrich-
ment of intellect, gaining independent experience, and improving the skills of stu-
dents. It is known that it is difficult to bring to the attention of students information
that is expanding at a rapid pace.
Experience shows that if a student studies independently and works non-stop,
then it is possible to adopt the deepest knowledge. Basic knowledge, skills and
experience are formed in the process of self-education, an indicator of the ability
of independent activity develops, and here an interest in creative work appears.
Today, not only forms of explanation and presentation are needed, but also inde-
pendent and practical activities. The main tasks in the field of higher education for
obtaining knowledge are considered to be:
• planning by students of self-education, its approval and creation of conditions
for self-education;
• to give knowledge and at the same time to teach students the learning process
itself;
• to show how to get information.
“It requires a desire for new knowledge, as well as adaptation to modern condi-
tions, constantly and rapidly changing technologies. To do this, it is necessary to
train students to acquire knowledge on their own”. This is precisely the requirement
of the times. Based on the existing problems, we tried to define these concepts and
talk about independent education. We got acquainted with the definitions of inde-
pendent education given in the dictionary of higher education, edited by S.S. Gulo-
mov According to this:

Independent education is a calendar-learning activity built on the basis of solving
a particular problem with or without the help of a specialist. The results of inde-
pendent education depend on the development of intellectual abilities, as well as
indicators of educational activity, attitudes towards knowledge, volitional and other
qualities. Independent education has individual and collective forms. The collective
form forms educational and qualification skills, intellectual activity of students. In
the system of continuous education, independent education performs the task of
organizing between educational links and stages, and also characterizes the unity
of the educational process and the desire for a leap in the process of independent
education.
Independent education is a learning activity built on the basis of students’ inde-
pendent and creative fulfillment of learning tasks [1].
In particular, if we study the concept of “Independent education” of students in
interpretation of scientists, then independent education is a prerequisite for a cons-
cious process, independent education is the result and condition for mastering the
methods of mental activity (D.B. Bogoyavlensky) [2].
According to N.N. Azizkhuzhaeva, with independent education, along with mas-
tering knowledge, self-sustaining the process of forming self independent educati-
on skills is achieved [3].
Even if both these opinions have common features, each of them has a speci-
fic approach. In our opinion, independent education is the result of independent
and creative activity aimed at solving problems or tasks by students. According to
some researchers, the level of knowledge of students depends on their indepen-
dent education or on the systematic and volume of educational activities. Since no
student will be able to achieve their goals without independent activity. Therefore,
self-education should be viewed as a means and result of obtaining knowledge. In
order to show that the self-acquisition of knowledge by students is the result of the
search for their scientific works, this process should be properly organized and ma-
naged, which in turn contributes to the development of student’s cognitive activity.
One of the priority factors of self-independence is that the student himself should
feel responsible for obtaining knowledge. He does not depend on the teacher and
has the right to make an independent decision on what and how to learn. In this
case, the student has the opportunity to correct their own mistakes.
