Analysis of the current legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of protection of tree plantations and natural monuments and proposals for their improvement

This article analyzes current legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the protection of the environment and natural monuments and reviews the issues of further improving of state and public organizations’ activities to ensure the protection of trees in Uzbekistan. The problems of tree protection and illegal logging are analyzed. Briefly touches upon assigned tasks and measures which have been already taken in the field of ecology. Proposals to improve the national legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on protection of tree and shrub plantations will be made.
