Marriage Documents of Central Asia: Text, Content and Formal Structure (Based on Kazi Documents of the 16th – Early 20th Centuries)

In this article explores issues related to family relations in Central Asia based on kazi (law) documents. One of the main tasks of the paper is aimed at the disclosure of a formal structure, composition of kazi (law) documents. In addition, special attention is paid to issues such as ‘mahr, talaq, nafaqa’ that were part of the institution of marriage. Documents are shown separately highlighting their contents.
