INTRODUCTION
Each nation has its own cultural heritage, its wealth and values are passed down from
generation to generation, adding their share to the treasury of universal art. One of the national
instruments of the Uzbek people, the dutor, is not only a musical instrument, but also a symbol of the
spirit of the people, a unique tool that expresses their respect for art. The dutor instrument serves as a
unique cultural bridge between generations, preserving not only musical performance, but also national
values.
In today's globalization process, preserving our national cultural heritage and instilling it in the minds
of the younger generation remains an ever more important task. In particular, developing dutor
performance in the field of music education and attracting future teachers to this art is one of the main
tools not only for improving musical skills, but also for educating the national spirit.
Therefore, the issue of improving the performance skills of future music teachers using the dutor
instrument should be considered not only within the framework of the educational process, but also as
an important factor serving the development of culture in a broader sense. Every person brought up
through the pleasant sound of the dutor can fully communicate with the spirit of national culture and
art that has been living for centuries.

METHODOLOGY
Improving the performance skills of future teachers using the dutor instrument in music education
requires specific scientific and practical approaches. This process is based on the careful development
of methodological approaches, the correct application of pedagogical technologies, and the use of
effective tools for the development of performance skills. The combination of national and modern
approaches plays an important role in the methodology, as this creates a creative approach to the
performance process and motivation.
The main areas of research within the framework of the article are observation, experimental work,
methodological analysis, and evaluation of musical and pedagogical activities. At the initial stage,
existing pedagogical materials and curricula on dutor performance were studied and their effectiveness
in the educational process was analyzed. At the next stage, the possibilities of using innovative
technologies, including interactive methods, in developing the musical abilities of future teachers were
studied.
In the lessons of the dutor instrument, special attention was paid to the analysis of musical works in
order to deeply understand the technical and creative uniqueness of national melodies. Also, during
practical classes, the individual abilities of each student were taken into account and appropriate
methodological methods were selected for them. In this process, the main goal was to form students'
skills in independent performance and create conditions for their creative research.
This methodology focuses on the development of performing skills not only on technical skills, but also
on creativity, national consciousness and self-development. This not only serves the professional
growth of future music teachers, but also helps to form them as mature promoters of national values.
Literature analysis
The study of scientific and pedagogical sources on dutor performance and its role in music education
serves as the theoretical basis of this study. In the research conducted on this topic, several major works
have been carried out on national musical instruments, in particular, on the performance of the dutor.
Musicologists from Uzbekistan and abroad have analyzed the historical formation of the dutor, its
performance technique, its pedagogical significance in the educational process, and its value as a
national heritage.
Analysis of national literature. Scientific research by prominent specialists on the performance of the
dutor in Uzbekistan plays a key role in the preservation and development of national musical culture.
In particular, the research of A. Rustamov, N. Rasulov, and B. Kuchkarov has made a significant
contribution to the formation of methodological foundations for teaching dutor performance. The
works of these authors extensively analyze the role of the dutor in the performance of national melodies
and the technical capabilities of the instrument.
Also, in the works of N. Norqobilov and M. Yunusov, who conducted scientific research on Uzbek folk
music, the dutor instrument is shown as a means of forming national values in the upbringing of the
younger generation. These works describe valuable scientific foundations for the performance aspects
of the dutor instrument and its place in education.
Analysis of foreign literature. Foreign studies mainly study approaches to the development of
performance skills in the process of general music education. For example, R. Taruskin and J. Kerman
deeply analyzed the technologies and pedagogical methods of teaching musical instruments. In their
works, the importance of an individual approach and creativity in the development of performance is
especially noted.

In addition, P. Webster's research on innovations in music education serves as the main source for
studying the possibilities of implementing interactive technologies suitable for dutor performance.
The analysis of the studied literature shows that the development of dutor performance not only serves
to improve technical skills, but also to convey national values to future generations. Through a
harmonious analysis of national and foreign literature, it is possible to develop effective methodologies
for improving the performance skills of future music teachers.
DISCUSSION
Research conducted on the development of performance skills through the dutor instrument in music
education gives rise to multifaceted and interesting discussions. As a national instrument, the dutor is
an integral part of the rich cultural heritage of our people, it is not only a performance technique, but
also a powerful means of understanding national identity and aesthetic education. Therefore, in the
process of training future music teachers, dutor performance should be seen not only as a means of
teaching technical skills, but also as a factor in developing national and creative potential.
When it comes to the performance technique and singing capabilities of the dutor, it is necessary to
consider how it affects students at all stages of musical education. By performing dutor melodies, the
student not only improves his technical skills, but also deeply feels musical aesthetics by understanding
the essence of the melodies. This process strengthens respect for national values, develops creative
thinking, and encourages independent creativity.
The issue of using innovative technologies is also of particular importance in the discussion process.
The use of interactive methods in dutor performance lessons, for example, video lessons, digital
platforms, and music programs, can increase student interest. These methods form students' self-
development skills and make lessons more effective. However, in order for these technologies to fully
correspond to the process of studying the national musical heritage, they must be carefully adapted.
At the same time, an individual approach to performance is of great importance. Since each student has
different abilities, interests, and levels of preparation, teachers need to develop individual approaches.
This approach not only eliminates technical shortcomings, but also helps to reveal creative potential.
In conclusion, dutor performance is not only an effective part of the musical education process, but also
an important tool for cultivating the national spirit. Through it, along with the technical skills of
students, it is possible to develop their creativity, aesthetic taste, and national consciousness. According
to the results of the discussion, it becomes clear that in order to further enrich this process, it is
necessary to combine modern and traditional methods. At the same time, cooperation between creative
teachers and students ensures the successful implementation of this process.
CONCLUSION
The dutor instrument is not only an integral part of the musical culture of the Uzbek people, but also an
art tool with deep roots in the national spirit and aesthetic education. Training future music teachers
through dutor performance has its place as an effective way to preserve the national cultural heritage
and pass it on to future generations. This process serves not only to form technical skills, but also to
develop creative thinking, national consciousness and aesthetic feelings in students.
The study revealed that individual and creative approaches are important in the process of teaching
dutor performance. Along with improving the technical skills of students, the main goal of this process
is to develop their creative potential, deepen their understanding of national musical values. At the
same time, the use of modern pedagogical technologies and interactive methods makes the teaching
process more effective and interesting.

Also, the combination of national and modern approaches plays a major role in integrating dutor
performance into the educational process. Learning national melodies through dutor not only teaches
students how to play the instrument, but also instills in them the spirit of appreciating and promoting
the national musical heritage. This not only serves the professional development of teachers, but also
promotes national culture on a global scale. In conclusion, improving performance skills using the dutor
instrument is not only a pedagogical issue in music education, but also a cultural and national
responsibility. For the successful implementation of this process, it is important to prioritize creativity
and an individual approach, combining national and modern methods. Instilling a sense of national
pride and creative flight in students through the unique sound and melodies of the dutor should be the
goal of every music educator.
