In the modern world, the introduction of new methodological approaches and innovative
technologies in education is fundamentally changing the process of language learning. In the
Republic of Uzbekistan, research is also intensifying to improve Uzbek language textbooks in
higher and secondary schools based on new pedagogical standards, enrich them with digital
educational resources, and improve students' communicative skills.
In teaching the Uzbek language
, along with traditional methods, the use of innovative
approaches such as interactive methods, multimedia tools, artificial intelligence-based programs,
and project-based learning provides an opportunity to increase efficiency. Modern textbooks
not only contain grammatical rules and a wealth of vocabulary, but also stimulate students'
interest in the language by modeling real communication situations and offering content related
to cultural and spiritual values. In an era of rapid development of modern life, science, and
technology, the language must keep up with the times and actively participate in all spheres of
life. In order to increase the current and future prestige of the Uzbek language, it is important to
modernize it. is a language with roots, but is constantly adapting to the times and renewing
itself. The global information space, the penetration of technologies, and the strengthening of
intercultural contacts require the enrichment and terminological expansion of the language.
Today, many new words and terms related to the scientific and technical, economic, legal,
Internet and IT spheres are being introduced into the Uzbek language. Also, the gradual
introduction of the Uzbek alphabet based on the Latin script plays an important role in shaping
the modern appearance of the language. These reforms contribute to the integration of the
Uzbek language in the international information space. In an era of rapid development of
modern life, science and technology, the language must keep up with the times and actively
participate in all spheres of life.
To increase the current and future prestige of the Uzbek language, its modernization is
important. The global transformations taking place in the field of education in the 21st century
require a revision of national language textbooks based on new requirements. The process of
creating modern textbooks, which began in Uzbekistan during the 2017-2021 educational
reforms, has now entered a new stage of integration of pedagogical innovations, digital
technologies, and modern methodologies. The process of transition from traditional methods of
language teaching to innovative approaches is explained by the following factors:
Socio-religious requirements: The importance of language learning based on national values
for the new generation The need to develop the Uzbek language in line with world
languages Pedagogical needs: The transition from passive knowledge to active skills
formation Implementation of an individual approach and differentiated education Technological
opportunities: Widespread distribution of digital educational resources The emergence of
learning platforms based on artificial intelligence Although 73% of Uzbek language textbooks
published in Uzbekistan over the past 5 years are based on innovative methods, scientific
research on their effectiveness and application is still insufficient.
Content innovations in Uzbek language textbooks
The main difference of modern textbooks is that they depart from traditional patterns in content
and include the following aspects:
Adaptability to real-life contexts - texts and exercises in textbooks are adapted to situations that
students encounter in their daily lives (for example, social networks, job search, banking
services).

The use of digital technologies and multimedia tools
Modern textbooks are becoming systems integrated with digital platforms, not just printed
publications:
Interactive and Gamification Methods
Language games and mobile applications:
Enriching vocabulary through applications such as "Let's Speak Uzbek"
Consolidating knowledge in a competitive environment in games such as "WordBattles"
Virtual rewards and points system:
Earn virtual stars and badges as you complete tasks
Encourage competition through inter-class leaderboards

In the modern educational process, textbooks are considered not only a source of
knowledge, but also a tool that shapes the student's personality, directing him to independent
thinking, analysis, and creativity. In particular, textbooks being created for teaching the Uzbek
language are being combined with modern pedagogical and information and communication
technologies, ensuring a transition from a traditional approach to an innovative one. Today's
textbooks aim to teach students to actively work with the language, to use it in real-life
situations, rather than memorizing traditional grammatical rules. This requires the development
of textbooks based on a constructive approach and the principles of competency-based
education. In Uzbek language textbooks, various topics are covered in a real-life context based
on a communicative approach, and the system of exercises is aimed at developing the student's
speech activity.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, modern Uzbek language textbooks should be developed not only as educational,
but also as a promoter of national and spiritual values, a formative of communicative
competencies, and an integrative function of preparing for social innovations. In this regard, the
main direction should be to combine the theoretical achievements of pedagogical science with

the practical capabilities of modern technologies. In modern pedagogical practice, the
methodology of teaching the Uzbek language is undergoing a period of radical revision. The
results of this scientific study show that the development of modern textbooks based on the
following principles can significantly increase the effectiveness of language learning.
Innovative approaches used in modern Uzbek language textbooks play an important role in
improving the quality of education. Unlike traditional teaching methods, today's textbooks put
the student at the center, serves as a tool that shapes him as an active participant, developing
creativity and independent thinking skills. Through interactive methods, digital technologies,
competency-based and communicative approaches, Uzbek language lessons are being adapted
to modern pedagogical requirements. Also, assignments based on national and spiritual values
in textbooks, along with learning the language, also form qualities such as an
understanding of national identity and respect for culture in the student. All this serves to make
the process of learning the Uzbek language more effective, meaningful and up-to-date.
