being an example, parents, society.

INTRODUCTION.

The primary pillar of any society or nation is its youth. The strength, potential, and zeal

for knowledge of young people determine the power and opportunities of the society in which

they live. For these young people to grow into great individuals – courageous in the pursuit of

knowledge and beneficial society – the most essential element is the proper and timely education

they receive. Education helps a person develop mentally, spiritually, and morally. Moreover, the

way one lives, which establishes their dignity and value, is a reflection of the education they

have received. The significance of education is clearly visible today: the violation of moral

norms by people, the transformation of vices into popular culture, and the imitation of these

negative traits all serve to demonstrate just how necessary proper education is. As the reformist

enlightener Abdulla Avloniy once expressed, “In short, education for us is a matter of either life

or death, salvation or ruin, happiness or disaster.”

LITERATURE ANALYSIS.

The term “tarbiya” is derived from the Arabic verb “robba”, which means to nurture,

increase, protect, lead, and reform. Muslim scholars have defined “tarbiya” in variousways. For

example, Imam Bayzoviy defines it as “the gradual process of bringing something to perfection.”

Similarly, Roghib Asfihoni describes education as “the process of transitioning something from

one state to another until it reaches perfection.” One of the key aspects of education is the

harmonious and balanced development of a person’s religious, intellectual, and moral capacities.

In considering education as a field that brings great benefits to the nation, it is concluded

that leaving its responsibility solely to others reflects a lack of accountability on the part of the

family. Based on ancient scholarly traditions concerning education, intellectual education, and

moral education. However, these cannot be separated from one another – they are so interrelated

that a deficiency in one inevitably affects the others, while an improvement in one benefits them

all.

“This world is a battlefield. The weapons on this battlefield are a healthy div, intellect,

and morality. Yet our very tools have become broken, rusted, and decayed. With such weapons,

neither happiness nor comfort can be found in this world. Perhaps… indeed, they might even

deny us this barren existence. If we desire happiness, honor, tranquility, comfort, dignity, respect,

and recognition, we must urgently learn the modern methods of nurturing the next generation

and raise our children in accordance with these principles.”

Our Prophet once said, “The best among you are those with the best manners (morality)”.

Every human being strives to excel in some field. However, if you aspire to be the best in

any area, you must first have exemplary manners and ethics. It is possible to be the most

knowledgeable, yet if your character is flawed, that very flaw will prevent you from achieving

success. The same holds true in all other fields. This is precisely the intent behind the

aforementioned hadith.

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “No parent can give a gist greater than

teaching their child good manners.”

Parents work tirelessly and sacrifice the most beautiful moments of their lives for their

children. They wish to give their children all the goodness they possess. This hadith emphasizes

that the finest gift is, indeed, education and good manners. Rather than leaving behind materially

wealthy children, parents should aim to raise individuals of noble character.

The Islamic scholar and Arab philosopher Abdurahman ibn Khaldun (born in 832) wrote

in his famous work “Muqaddima”: “In the process of education and upbringing, do not strictly

confine a child’s actions or subject them to anger and oppression.”

“Education – or “pedagogy” – is the science of child-rearing. The foundation of moral

science is built upon education. In this regard, let us say a few words. For the well-being and

happiness of a child, it is essential to provide proper education, maintain the purity of their div,

correct their habits from an early age, teach them good manners, and shield them from bad ones.

Educators are much like physicians; just as a doctor treats a patient’s physical ailments, an

educator must remedy the disease of anger in a child’s nature with the cure of “good manners”

and the remedy of “purity” – thereby ensuring the child’s proper development. Indeed, we have

been enjoined to reform our manners under the noble command, “Have good manners.”

However, the main pillar upon which our good character stands is education.”

CONCLUSION.

In child-rearing, several aspects are considered crucial:

-

Being Affectionate:

The more parents make their child feel loved, the greater the trust and affection the child will

feel toward them.

Teaching Goal-Setting and Providing Support:

Parents should teach their children how to set proper goals and support them in pursuing

these objectives. this helps children grow into determined and self-confident individuals.

Setting an Example:

Children tend to emulate what they see more than what they hear. Therefore, parents must

first demonstrate good manners and proper conduct themselves. Education is not merely about

following a set of prescribed ethical rules – it is a concept that permeates every aspect of life.

Above all, education is matter of responsibility, a continues throughout life.

Love between parents:

The more affectionately parents treat each other, the more love their children will feel for

them. The peace and mutual respect within the family have direct and significant impact on a

child’s upbringing.

Fostering a Love Knowledge:

From birth to the end of life, one’s ego (nafs) is a constant companion. To prevent emergence

of pride, arrogance, and immorality within the ego, it must be supplanted with knowledge.

Parents should cultivate in their children a love for learning, for proper education and essential

knowledge form the foundation of good upbringing.

In summary, if people wish to achieve a prosperous future, they must first educate the future

leaders in a manner befitting that future. Everyone must strive with utmost effort and view

education not as a trivial matter but as a matter of life and death.
