This article analyzes digital portfolios (e-portfolios) as a modern and innovative alternative to traditional valuation systems. Traditional assessment often relies on tests and final exams to determine a student's level of knowledge through limited indicators. In contrast, digital portfolios allow students to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and competencies in a broader and more dynamic way. A digital portfolio develops the learner's self-development, critical and creative thinking skills as well as skills to use modern technology. The article discusses in detail the types of a digital portfolio, the stages of creation, the criteria for effective assessment, and the possibility of integrating it into the educational process. It also analyzes its role in the formation of independent learning and reflection skills in students. Based on practical experiences and research, digital portfolios are described as a tool to modernize the education system, advance personalized learning, and enhance academic achievement.
