Annotatsiya:
National songs represent one of the most ancient and significant components of
cultural heritage, passed down through generations as spiritual treasures. These songs not
only serve to preserve cultural values but also play a crucial role in educational systems. In
particular, national songs hold immense value in the process of developing students' musical
performance skills. This article discusses the pedagogical foundations, methods, and
significance of developing students' performance skills through national songs. It also
provides practical recommendations for implementing these processes within the educational
system.
Key words:
national song, rhythm, intonation, music, lyrics
National songs, as an integral part of folk culture, help students become familiar with the
history, traditions, and values of their people. National songs positively influence the younger
generation in several ways:
1.
National Identity Awareness – through songs, students learn about their cultural
heritage and develop a sense of national identity.
2.
Aesthetic Education – national songs cultivate students' artistic taste and develop their
ability to appreciate beauty.
3.
Language Culture – through songs, students explore the rich possibilities of their
native language and expand their vocabulary.
4.
Musical Ability Development – during the performance of national songs, students
develop their vocal capabilities, rhythm, and intonation sense.
The development of students' performance skills through national songs is based on the
following pedagogical foundations:
1. Developmental Education Principle. When teaching national songs, it is important to
consider students' individual abilities and encourage their independent creative activity. This
principle aims to uncover and develop students' potential capabilities.
2. Systematic and Sequential Principle. The development of students' performance skills
should be carried out in stages. Moving from simple to complex, from known to unknown
enhances educational effectiveness. Adherence to this principle is essential when teaching
national songs.
3. Visual Demonstration Principle. The teacher's exemplary performance and the use of audio
and visual materials are of paramount importance when teaching national songs. Visual aids
help students correctly perceive and perform the songs.
4. Activity and Consciousness Principle. Students should learn national songs not
mechanically but with an understanding of their content and significance. This principle
ensures students' active independent thinking on the subject.
5. Collective and Individual Approach Principle. When teaching national songs, it is
necessary to employ both collective work and individual approaches. This allows for
comprehensive development of students' performance skills.
