INTRODUCTION
"Instilling important qualities such as patriotism,
entrepreneurship, willpower, ideological immunity,
compassion, responsibility, tolerance, legal culture,
innovative thinking, and diligence in youth from
childhood step by step is one of the essential tasks."
Furthermore, I believe that the major responsibility of
educators is to nurture young people to become
broad-minded, active citizens for independent life.
Spiritual and moral education in the family is the
process of teaching and developing moral values in
children. It involves instilling and consistently modeling
values such as honesty, respect, responsibility, and
empathy from a young age, thereby reinforcing them.
The family plays a crucial role in shaping the moral and
spiritual development of a child. This is because
parents, by providing a supportive environment,
setting clear expectations and boundaries, and
modeling positive behavior, help their children develop
strong moral and spiritual values that will guide them
throughout their lives. When moral upbringing in the
family is organized correctly, negative traits such as
rudeness, arrogance, laziness, boasting, stinginess,
treachery, backbiting, ignorance, impatience, and
injustice can be prevented.

Family upbringing, as mentioned above, is a
pedagogical process organized by parents or those
responsible for the complete development of a child,
aimed at raising well-rounded, healthy, and
knowledgeable individuals. In our country, special
attention is being given to raising youth with
patriotism, high spirituality, and innovative and
creative thinking, with a focus on improving the
education system. When discussing the importance of
ongoing reforms in the education system, our
President draws attention to the historical reforms of
developed countries, where societal changes began
with educational reforms, from kindergarten to school.
It is impossible to change people and society without
reforming schools, as education is the foundation of
upbringing, and the foundation of education is schools,
with teachers being the driving force behind these
institutions. It is well known that during challenging
transition periods, the prestige of the teaching
profession declined, and insufficient attention was
given to training new-generation teachers, advancing
pedagogical sciences, and introducing innovative
educational technologies. However, in recent years,
substantial efforts have been made to address these
issues and fundamentally reform the teacher training
system.
Pedagogical creativity, especially in the art of
upbringing, cannot simply begin with emotional
experiences. Pedagogical mastery and professional
culture must be acquired. The entire system of training
and improving the qualifications of pedagogical staff
should focus on mastering these essential skills.
However, no one becomes a master educator
immediately
after
completing
university
or
qualification courses. Mastery in pedagogy is
developed within educational institutions through
interactions with students. In the process of
conducting educational activities, a teacher must
possess pedagogical mastery and understand the
hearts of their students, recognizing their interests and
inclinations. Educational activities should be planned
with student input, making them active participants
while the teacher takes on a supervisory role. This
approach ensures that the desired goals are achieved
effectively and promptly. A teacher’s communication
skills with students are also crucial during the
preparation
for
educational
activities,
as
communication itself can be a tool for influencing
students’ behavior and attitudes.
Developing a high sense of patriotism, humanity, and
compassion in students largely depends on their
interactions with adults. These values are deeply
intertwined and cannot be separated. According to
Uzbek traditions, the land where one lives is sacred.
The concepts of homeland, country, and nation are
considered sacred, always supported by love and
loyalty. These feelings should be awakened in young
hearts, nurtured, and developed. The upbringing of
youth in patriotism, humanity, and compassion is a
sacred duty shared by teachers, parents, and the
community. The future of independent Uzbekistan
depends largely on raising a well-rounded generation.
Following the wise thoughts of our ancestors, it is
essential to teach our youth the noble values of
patriotism, humanity, and compassion from childhood,
which are deeply rooted in our traditions.
A person who loves music tends to be inclined towards
goodness, as music is a powerful tool against
ignorance. Music transcends nations, yet it can awaken
a national spirit. Therefore, in the education system, it
is necessary to strengthen musical education starting
from preschools and eliminate obstacles along the

way. We want our children to grow up to be educated,
virtuous, and complete individuals, far from ignorance.
Therefore, we must begin cultivating a love for music,
literature, and all forms of art in them from an early
age, fostering a broad and artistic worldview and
nurturing
them
into
well-mannered
and
compassionate individuals.
The responsibilities of the organizers of extracurricular
and after-school educational activities include:
- Planning and supervising extracurricular activities.
- Coordinating the diverse extracurricular activities of
students through collaboration with the pedagogical
team, student organizations, and class leaders.
- Providing methodological support to teachers,
parents, and class leaders in managing extracurricular
activities.
- Actively participating in school-wide and inter-school
educational events.
- Utilizing cultural and educational institutions and the
community to organize students' leisure time
effectively.
It is difficult to achieve the intended goals without
carefully
planning
educational
activities
and
determining their content, form, and methods.
Extracurricular institutions include youth creativity
centers, children’s sports schools, art schools, music
schools, and libraries. These institutions play an
important role in enhancing the artistic and aesthetic
tastes, moral values, patriotism, and love for learning
in students through creative activities such as music,
drama, and dance. Artistic performances should not
only entertain but also provide aesthetic pleasure to
both the participants and the audience. It is necessary
to explore new methods of organizing musical events
and promoting the artistic and moral development of
students.
Educators who strive to instill our cultural values and
traditions in students, guiding them to develop moral
character, must possess deep knowledge and
organizational skills. Forming students' spirituality,
expanding their worldview, and developing their
intellectual capacity are essential for raising
independent and self-aware individuals who will not
fall under the influence of harmful ideologies. The issue
of developing personal spirituality has remained a
pressing concern for scholars throughout history, as
the spirituality of an individual is intertwined with the
spirituality of socie
ty. In today’s schools, spiritual and
educational activities are organized as much as
possible, but they need to be further improved to meet
the demands of the times. Schools should enrich
spiritual and educational activities for both students
and their parents. Increasing student interest in such
activities can help create a vibrant and engaging school
environment.
The ultimate goal of improving spiritual and
educational activities in schools is to contribute to the
well-being of the people, the peace of the nation, and
the progress of the country. Education and upbringing
are inseparable; when these processes are organized in
harmony,
they
produce
morally
upright,
knowledgeable, and physically and mentally healthy
individuals who possess a broad worldview and
professional skills. As President Mirziyoyev said, "If you
ask me what worries me, it’s the education and
upbringing of our children."

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the cooperation between schools and
families in shaping musical culture among youth is
essential. The content of spiritual and educational
work conducted during music lessons, as well as
through mass musical events, plays a crucial role in the
artistic and aesthetic upbringing of future generations.
Music teachers, preschool and extracurricular
education institution leaders, and parents bear the
sacred responsibility of nurturing this process. By
establishing effective collaboration between families,
communities, and educational institutions, we can
create a healthy moral environment and instill a strong
ideological immunity against various spiritual threats.
