Alfraganus University was founded in 2022 in the city of Tashkent. Its structure includes the departments of economics, philology, pedagogy, social sciences, digital technologies, medicine, physical education and sports, and tourism - which includes 37 areas. The University also has a Master's degree program, which accepts students in 10 areas. The University itself was named “Alfraganus”, in honor of the Uzbek encyclopedist Ahmad Al-Fergani. Under this name, Al-Fergani is widely known in Europe, and one of the craters on the Moon is named in honor of the scientist. The University has its own hospital. In addition, it indexes its international scientific journal and student newspaper. The most experienced professors and teachers teach here. Alfraganus University has established cooperation with approximately 20 developed countries around the world, including several higher education institutions. In particular, effective activities are carried out in cooperation with countries such as America, Turkey, Japan, China and Korea. A one-time rector’s scholarship and an “Al-Fergani” scholarship with a badge for creative and inventive students have also been established. The most active and enterprising students are awarded with grants. Therefore, a student who has studied exemplarily for a year is exempt from paying the contract for the next year.
The international scientific journal "ALFRAGANUS" will be published in 2022 as a publishing body of ALFRAGANUS University in Tashkent. The magazine maintains separate pages for articles, research, and innovative ideas under the requirements of high-ranking magazines. The journal has been turned into a forum for young scientists and researchers. Wide involvement of young scientists in science and discussion of new scientific results with the participation of leading scientists, approval of created scientific developments, and organizing discussions on current topics with scientists of foreign scientific centers within the framework of international cooperation are also being implemented. The areas of the magazine are exact and natural sciences, digital technologies, medicine, geodesy and cadastre, history, pedagogy and psychology, social sciences, philology, economy, sports activities, tourism, etc.
inLibrary — is a scientific electronic library built on the paradigm of open science (Open Science), the main tasks of which are the popularization of science and scientific activities, public quality control of scientific publications, the development of interdisciplinary research, a modern institute of scientific review, increasing the citation of Uzbek science and building a knowledge infrastructure.
