THE PROGNOSTIC COURSE OF THE DISEASE IN PREMATURE
CHILDREN WITH CONGENITAL HEART DEFECTS
Abdurakhmanova D.F.
Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. Tashkent, Uzbekistan
RELEVANCE
Congenital heart defects are considered an urgent problem in pediatric
cardiology. If high-quality medical care is not provided on time, about 50% of
children with cardiovascular diseases die in the neonatal period, and 25% die in
the first year of life.
PURPOSE OF THE RESEARCH
Determination of clinical, biochemical, and cardiovascular activity during
rehabilitation after surgical correction of congenital heart defect in premature
children.
METHODS AND RESULTS
The research was conducted among 52 children aged 6 months to 3 years
after correction of congenital heart defect (CHD) in the clinic of the Tashkent
Pediatric Medical Institute and the Republican Center for Scientific and Practical
Surgery named after Academician V.V. Vokhidov from 2020 and 2022. When the
patients were divided according to gender and age CHD was detected more often
in boys, and in our study, the percentage of children aged 1-2 years was 43.7%.
After cardiosurgical correction, all patients receive standard treatment: diet,
metabolic process, acid balance supplements, vitamins, and trace elements. When
studying the occurrence of comorbidities in children with CHD according to age,
the following results were analyzed: 43% of GIE and 33.4% of anemia in children
under 1 year of age, 27% of neurological changes in children under 2 years of age,
and 19.2% of protein-energy deficiency. The following syndromes characteristic
of the cardiovascular system was identified among children during the post-
surgery period. Some of the syndromes that represent cardiac function are
myocardial dysfunction, valvular dysfunction, autonomic dysfunction, chronic
heart failure, and pulmonary hypertension. When these syndromes were
organized in dynamics after surgery for 2 weeks, 1 month, 6 months, and 1 year,
it was found that the incidence rate of these syndromes decreased. At the same
time, in the early postoperative period, it showed obvious myocardial dysfunction
(29.1%), and chronic heart failure (25.7%).
SUMMARY
When the severity of cardiac dysfunction (CD) was correlated with
comorbidities, it was found that the coexistence of comorbidities with obvious
CHD disorders had a high correlation.
