Abstract.
In this article, the subject of our research is the process of formation of
intercultural communication in teaching a foreign language in secondary school. The
object of the research is intercultural communication. The purpose of our work is to
reveal the content and identify the features of intercultural learning in the educational
environment.
Key words:
intercultural communication, methodological, theoretical, language,
linguistic.
The idea of a connection between culture and language dates back to the 18th
century, bur purposeful study of the problem began at the end of the last century. Over
the past decades, the number of works has grown significantly, indicating the interest
and desire of linguistics to study linguistic phenomena in a broad extralinguistic context.
And if more recently it was recognized that the appeal to extralinguistic factors testifies
to some inconsistency or “weakness” of the linguistresearcher, then at present the need
to study the language in its real functioning in various spheres of human activity has
become generally accepted. In this regard, a number of works have appeared recently
in which attempts are made to discover the conditionality of language in the very
meaning of lexical units, to single out the so-called “cultural” component of meaning,
to discover the linguistic nature of “background knowledge”, to show the peculiarity
and originality of thei functioning in each of the considered linguistic communities. The
theoretical significance of the work lies in the development of theoretical aspects of the
development of intercultural teaching of foreign languages. The problem of teaching
intercultural communication in the modern educational system; language
communication the connection of language and culture; the role of language in the
formation of a linguistic personality - these three aspects, considered by us theoretically.
The practical significance of the study is that a technology is proposed for organizing
intercultural teaching of foreign languages in the educational environment.

New times, new conditions required an immediate and radical revision of both the
general methodology and the specific methods and techniques of teaching foreign
languages. The main task of teaching foreign languages in Uzbekistan at present is
teaching the language as a real and complete means of communication. The solution of
this applied, practical problem is possible only on a fundamental theoretical basis. To
create such a database, you need

Language communication as a sociolinguistic phenomenon.
One of the central areas of linguistic research of the social and cultural
conditioning of language communication in the context of linguistic and regional
studies. The subject of linguistic and regional studies is culture, as it is expressed in the
target language. The study of the cultural component of words is an important condition
for the successful mastery of a foreign language, however, in turn, it is included in a
wider range of cultural and historical meanings of the corresponding social reality, the
assimilation of which is an important condition for using the language as a means of
communication. So, for example, O.S.
Akhmanova notes that an indispensable condition for the implementation of any
communicative act should be “mutual knowledge of the realities of the speaker and the
listener, which is the basis of linguistic communication”, they received the name
“background knowledge” in linguistics. According to her correct remark, “the meaning
of the word used in a given native language to designate such completely different
objects from the point of view of Central European culture as “egg”, “dead person” and
“bread” will really be revealed only to those who acquire an external linguistic
acquaintance with these objects in a given cultural area and will see that an ovoid shape
is given not only to bread, but also to the bodies of the dead during burial. The study of

background knowledge, objective ways of highlighting the cultural component of
meaning is an important task, since the inclusion of the social dimension in the
linguistic analysis makes it possible to penetrate deeper into the very nature of the
language, to more fully identify the conditions for its functioning and the dynamics of
its development, allows us to present in a new light the picture of the language as a
public phenomena.
Technology of the content of educational and methodological support in teaching
intercultural communication.
Of all the forms of manifestation of intercultural communication in school
conditions, priority should be given to informative conversations about events in the
life of students as the most important form of teaching real speech communication.
There are some methods speech for teaching: dialogic, monologue and polylogue
In practical terms, the work showed that modern teaching of a foreign language is
impossible without instilling a foreign language culture in students. Most
methodologists prioritize the current state of the theory and practice of teaching a
foreign language with a pronounced communicative orientation, which contributes to
the comprehensive development of the individual, the development of students'
spiritual values. This study in the field of foreign language teaching methods showed
that the teaching of intercultural communication of foreign languages cannot exist
without the inclusion of a linguistic and cultural aspect in the learning process. In the
light of modern requirements for the purposes of teaching a foreign language, the status
and role of country-specific information is changing, presented in such a way as to
correspond to the experience, needs and interests of students and be compared with the
similar experience of their peers in the country of the language being studied. Research
has also shown that in modern education there is a base on which communicative
learning can be based.
