Gastroduodenal bleeding complicates the course of the burn disease and in some cases may increase the likelihood of death in patients with severe thermal trauma. The analysis of 105 victims with severe thermal trauma (the area of deep burn 20-40%), who were on treatment from 2010 to 2017, in whom the course of the burn disease was complicated by the development of gastroduodenal bleeding. Studies have shown that the pathogenetically substantiated method of choice for the development of massive bleeding in burned patients is endoscopic arrest on the background of complex haemostatic, replacement and angioprotective therapy
