Neuroimeging and neurophisiologikal studies in children with tics

We studied in neuroimaging and neurophysiologic studies in children with tics. Examined more than 180 children aged 7-12 years. Children performed clinical and neurological examination, EEG psychological testing, brain MRT. As a result, the survey revealed that children with tics are characterized by lower values of power of alpha rhythm in the occipital compared with healthy children. Significant hemispheric asym- metry of the spectral power of alpha rhythm is not mentioned
