Behavioral peculiarities of imago malaria misquitoes (diptera, culicidae, anopheles) of Uzbekistan

After morphological, cytogenetic and molecular-genetic analysis resembling species of An. artemievi of malaria mosquito group «maculipennis» was revealed in Fergana, Chirchik-Ahangaran, Mirzachul and Zarafshan geographical regions of Uzbekistan. In the nature under bednet An. pulcherrimus is dominated and An. superpiсtus is subdominated. An. superpiсtus species is widely spread in mountain and foothill regions of Uzbekistan. It is met in all geographical regions of Uzbekistan. An. artemievi is spread in the valleys of rivers of Fergana, Chirchik-Ahangaran, Mirzachul and Zarafshan geographical regions. An. pulcherrimus is spread on the plains of the river valleys, except Kashkadarya region. An. martinius is met in Kashkadarya and low Amudarya regions. The most attractive places of day-time for mosquitoes are cattle farms and the next place by mosquitos’ density is taken by household places. Dwelling places are occupied by mosquitoes insignificantly. Maximum amount of attack mosquitoes is registered in July, August and the beginning of September
