Abstract

The article examines key issues of environmental security in the context of New Uzbekistan, focusing on water scarcity, air pollution, the Aral Sea crisis, and the impacts of climate change. It analyzes the main factors contributing to environmental degradation and highlights state measures aimed at modernizing irrigation systems, expanding water-saving technologies, promoting the “green economy,” and mitigating the consequences of the Aral Sea disaster. Special attention is given to Uzbekistan’s international initiatives and its strategy for sustainable development.
