Since the study of ancient Turkic language sources plays an essential role in the development of Turkology, the article highlights the discovery, publication, and scholarly investigation of the work. It also examines the contributions of prominent researchers and the value of the “Dīwān” as a source of phonetic, lexical, and ethnographic information. The scientific importance of the work in modern Turkology and Uzbek linguistics is also addressed.
