This article is dedicated to the study of the biological and biochemical foundations of the aerobic metabolism process. The paper provides a detailed analysis of the stages of glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain, highlighting the mechanisms of ATP production and the efficiency of energy generation in the presence of oxygen. The role of aerobic metabolism in the functioning of muscles, heart, and brain, its significance in maintaining metabolic stability, and the influence of factors such as oxygen availability, mitochondrial activity, and nutrient supply are discussed. Furthermore, the article examines the applications of aerobic metabolism in sports medicine, rehabilitation, and clinical physiology. The results of this study confirm the vital importance of aerobic metabolism in ensuring energy balance, supporting prolonged physical activity, and reducing pathological conditions.References
