Abstract

The article presents a comparative analysis of the creative paths of I.A. Bunin and B.K. Zaitsev in emigration as two different strategies for preserving the classical tradition of Russian literature. The study examines the aesthetic principles, stylistic features, thematic dominants and worldview foundations of both writers' work in the context of Russian émigré literature. It considers the specifics of their appeal to classical heritage, differences in understanding the tasks of émigré literature, and features of their artistic method.
