Abstract.
In this article, we have explored the lexical and grammatical aspects of words,
focusing on their classification into different parts of speech. By understanding how words are
categorized, we gain a deeper understanding of their roles and functions within sentences. The
rich variety of vocabulary and the grammatical properties of words allow for effective
communication and ensure accurate expression of thoughts and ideas. Studying these lexical and
grammatical aspects provides valuable insight into the fascinating intricacies of language.

КЛАССИФИКАЦИЯ СЛОВ ПО ЧАСТЯМ РЕЧИ
Аннотация.
В этой статье мы исследовали лексические и грамматические
аспекты слов, сосредоточив внимание на их классификации по различным частям речи.
Понимая, как классифицируются слова, мы получаем более глубокое понимание их ролей и
функций в предложениях. Богатое разнообразие словарного запаса и грамматических
свойств слов обеспечивают эффективное общение и точное выражение мыслей и идей.
Изучение этих лексических и грамматических аспектов дает ценное представление об
увлекательных тонкостях языка.

INTRODUCTION
Language is a fascinating tool that allows us to communicate our thoughts and ideas. As
we delve into the study of words, we encounter lexical and grammatical aspects that help us better
understand their usage and classification into parts of speech. In this essay, we will explore the
intricacies of word classification and discuss the importance of lexical and grammatical features.
Through this journey, we hope to shed light on the formalities that govern language.
LEXICAL ASPECTS OF WORDS
One of the fundamental aspects of words is their lexical properties. Lexical features refer
to the unique characteristics of words that contribute to their meaning and usage. Vocabulary,
collocation, and semantic associations are key aspects of lexical analysis. Vocabulary, or the set
of words in a language, plays a significant role in word classification. Understanding nuances in
meaning, synonyms, and antonyms aids in the comprehension of texts and facilitates effective
communication.

For instance, the words "happy" and "joyful" are synonyms, but they evoke slightly
different emotions, allowing speakers to express themselves more precisely. Additionally,
collocation, which refers to the natural pairing of words in a language, is a crucial lexical aspect.
Analyzing common word combinations helps determine the appropriate grammar and word
choice. For example, we say "strong coffee" rather than "powerful coffee" due to the established
collocation in English.
Lexical meaning is the individual meaning of the word. Semantic associations, or the
relationships between words, are another essential lexical aspect. Words can be classified into
semantically related groups, such as hyponyms and synonyms. These associations enhance our
understanding of a word's meaning and usage within specific contexts.
GRAMMATICAL ASPECTS OF WORDS
Beyond their lexical properties, words possess grammatical features that determine their
roles within sentences. Understanding these grammatical aspects enables us to construct coherent
and meaningful sentences. Word classification into parts of speech is a crucial grammatical aspect.
Grammatical meaning of is the meaning of the whole class or a subclass. Parts of speech, such as
nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections, define
how words function in a sentence.
Each part of speech has its own unique set of grammatical rules, further contributing to the
formation of well-structured sentences. Nouns are used to represent people, places, things, or ideas,
while verbs express actions, states, or occurrences. Adjectives provide descriptions or attributes,
and adverbs modify verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. Pronouns replace nouns, while
conjunctions connect words, phrases, or clauses. Prepositions indicate relationships between other
words, and interjections express strong emotions.
Moreover, inflectional and derivational morphology are important aspects of word
grammar. Inflectional morphology involves adding affixes to a word to indicate features such as
tense, number, gender, and case, while derivational morphology forms new words by adding
prefixes or suffixes, thus altering the word's meaning or part of speech.
IMPORTANCE OF LEXICAL AND GRAMMATICAL UNDERSTANDING
A comprehensive understanding of lexical and grammatical aspects is vital for effective
communication. By grasping the nuances of vocabulary, speakers can choose the most appropriate
words to convey their meaning accurately. Similarly, understanding grammatical categories and
rules enables individuals to construct grammatically correct sentences that convey their intended
message clearly Moreover, understanding lexical and grammatical aspects aids in language
acquisition and proficiency. Learners who study word classification and related features develop
a stronger grasp of the language's intricacies, allowing them to express themselves more
eloquently.
CONCLUSION
In the journey of exploring lexical and grammatical aspects of words, we have unraveled
the importance of vocabulary, collocation, and semantic associations. Additionally, we have
acknowledged the significance of word classification into parts of speech, as well as the roles
played by inflectional and derivational morphology. Understanding these formalities empowers
individuals to communicate effectively, both in written and spoken language.
