Relevance of the problem:
The first includes various injuries, and the second - the
individual characteristics of the div. If with mechanical damage everything is more or less clear,
then physiological damage requires accuracy. So, the cause of such curvature is the different
growth rates of the external part of the nose and the nasal septum. Sometimes the septum is
replaced by other intranasal structures that have increased in size.
Object of study:
In addition, most of the septum may be smooth, but in one of its sections
there is a spike or ridge located on the side wall of the nose. Such a connection is undesirable,
although initially it does not interfere with nasal breathing, it leads to a prolonged cold, and also
causes complications such as otitis or sinusitis. In such cases, after some time after the onset of
chronic rhinitis, characteristic disorders of nasal breathing may occur, which, in turn, are caused
by constant pressure from the deviation of the nasal septum. The role of the nasal septum in the
functioning of the nose and its paranasal sinuses is invaluable. Many people cannot boast of a
perfectly straight nasal septum, although it is often slightly curved, and the defect is not considered
a pathology. There are people with a pronounced curvature of the nasal septum.
In such cases, patients are often wary and surprised when they receive a proposal from a
doctor to correct the nasal septum. And all because they do not fully understand that this is the
problem that caused the development of the disease.
Observable results:
Typically, surgeons use a traditional approach to correct a deviated
septum, which includes:
Septum correction is performed only in the respiratory zone, i.e. in the lower part. The
disadvantage of this operation is that the ventilation of the paranasal sinuses is not affected, since
the upper part of the septum is preserved.

Complete removal of the deviated septum, as a result of which the base of the septum
cannot be preserved.
If, in addition to a deviated septum, the patient also has sinusitis, the operation is divided
into several stages, that is, it cannot be performed in one day.
From the above, we can conclude that in many cases the traditional approach to solving the
problem of a deviated nasal septum is not the most optimal solution. Especially when more
progressive treatment methods are available.
Endoscopic microsurgery as an effective method for nasal septum correction
An experienced doctor working with endoscopic surgery can correct the nasal septum,
avoiding any defects.
Research materials:
A deviated nasal septum is not a reason for surgery. We know when
it is necessary to correct it and when it is not.
We welcome gentle endoscopic techniques that involve repairing a specific portion of the
septum while preserving a large portion of it.
We guarantee the complete restoration of normal nasal breathing, because at the same time
as the septum correction, we perform a slight correction of other anatomical structures. We are
confident that only this approach guarantees long-term and reliable results.
