WHY TELEGRAM SHOULD ENABLE SMART TV STREAMING?

Abstract.
This article explores the potential benefits of adding Smart TV streaming
functionality to Telegram. By focusing on secure, privacy-conscious video streaming, Telegram
could provide users with a convenient and immersive way to enjoy content on larger screens,
setting it apart from other platforms. The introduction of this feature could attract more users and
position Telegram as a leader in privacy-first entertainment.

Аннотация. В этой статье рассматриваются потенциальные
преимущества добавления функции потоковой передачи Smart TV в Telegram.
Сосредоточившись
на
безопасной
потоковой
передаче
видео
с
учетом
конфиденциальности, Telegram может предоставить пользователям удобный и
захватывающий способ наслаждаться контентом на больших экранах, что выделит его
среди других платформ. Внедрение этой функции может привлечь больше пользователей
и позиционировать Telegram как лидера в сфере развлечений, ориентированных на
конфиденциальность.

In the age of digital connectivity, convenience and accessibility play a vital role in shaping
user preferences. While Telegram has established itself as a leading platform for communication
and content sharing, it still lacks a feature that could significantly elevate its user experience-
automatic video streaming to Smart TVs. This article explores the potential of such functionality,
its advantages, and how it could enhance Telegram's appeal to a broader audience.

Security and Privacy Concerns
One of Telegram's hallmarks is its commitment to user security and privacy. Unlike many
other apps, Telegram prioritizes safeguarding data and content. Currently, apps like Google Home
allow users to mirror their smartphone screens to TVs. However, this method often exposes
personal messages or sensitive information, making it less secure for users who simply want to
enjoy videos on a larger screen.
To address this, Telegram could develop a specialized feature focused solely on video
streaming. This functionality would allow users to stream movies or videos directly to their Smart
TVs without risking the exposure of private messages or other unrelated content. Such a secure
approach could attract a significant number of users seeking privacy-conscious solutions.
Advantages of Watching Movies on TV
Watching movies or videos on a small phone screen can be inconvenient and less engaging
for most users. A large TV screen, on the other hand, provides a more immersive and enjoyable
experience, transforming casual viewing into a cinematic treat. Unfortunately, many free websites
or streaming services lack the option to directly stream content to Smart TVs. While platforms like

often prioritizes short-form content. This limitation leaves a gap for platforms like Telegram to
step in and offer a more comprehensive solution.
