Abstract. The purpose of gymnastics is to strengthen human health and provide

comprehensive physical preparation for its diverse activities. Furthermore, gymnastics aims to

develop proper posture, correct and prevent various div defects, restore the functioning of the

musculoskeletal system after injuries, and cultivate the ability to control one's movements.

Gymnastics is a system of specially selected exercises that comprehensively affect the

human div, enhance its basic physiological processes, and contribute to harmonious

development. Thanks to gymnastic exercises, vital movement skills, the beauty and precision of

movements, and basic physical qualities such as agility, speed, strength, endurance, and flexibility

are developed. Gymnastics is practiced from childhood and continues throughout life.

The purpose of gymnastics is to strengthen human health and ensure comprehensive

physical preparation for its diverse activities. Furthermore, gymnastics aims to develop proper

posture, correct and prevent various div defects, restore the functioning of the musculoskeletal

system after injuries, and cultivate the ability to control one's movements. The diversity of simple

and complex exercises includes the combination of natural movements, exercises performed

without objects, with objects, and exercises performed on equipment (equipment): the ability to

exert a greater influence on individual areas of one or another group by exerting a general,

comprehensive influence on the div being exercised; and the possibility of more precise

coordination of physiological loads compared to the div of the participants. This distinguishes

In the educational process, it cultivates the ability to assess one's motor capabilities and

understand the general laws of motor activity. Gymnastics has the means of implementing

educational tasks: it requires precise execution of movements beforehand: organizing the

educational process, taking into account the daily routine of exercises, the consciousness and

freedom of movements. General developmental gymnasticsThe purpose of general developmental

gymnastics is to strengthen health and overall physical fitness. It is aimed at developing and

strengthening motor skills, developing proper posture, improving cardiovascular and respiratory

processes, and ensuring div conditioning. Basic gymnastics includes training, general

development, and basic movements. Physical equipment is used when General developmental

gymnasticsThe purpose of general developmental gymnastics is to strengthen health and overall

physical fitness. It is aimed at developing and strengthening motor skills, developing proper

posture, improving cardiovascular and respiratory processes, and ensuring div conditioning.

equipment is used when performing exercises. Basic gymnastics contributes to the intensification

of functional processes in the human div, its physical development, the formation of various

motor skills, the cultivation of physical qualities, the ability to freely utilize acquired motor

activity, the ability to correctly assess one's capabilities, and the understanding of the importance

of acquired knowledge and skills for life and activity. B) Hygienic gymnastics is aimed at

strengthening and maintaining human health, properupbringing, and the formation of the div's

main system functions (breathing, blood circulation, metabolism). General developmental and

practical exercises, combined with water, massage, and div conditioning, are used as hygienic

gymnastics tools. Hygienic gymnastics is recommended for children of all ages.

Sports gymnastics

The task of sports gymnastics is to improve and maintain general physical fitness.

Rhythmic gymnastics involves the formation of movements and has a sporting character.

The main exercises of rhythmic gymnastics are connected with music, which helps to

master the coordination of plastic movements. Practical gymnasticsProfessional practical
