Introduction
In the context of globalization and the increasing importance of English as an
international means of communication, the early mastery of English language skills has become
a critical component of primary education. The foundation laid in the early years significantly
influences the learners' future linguistic development, academic success, and intercultural
competence. Therefore, the search for effective and engaging teaching methods suitable for
young learners is becoming increasingly relevant. Traditional teaching approaches, while still
valuable, often fail to fully address the specific psychological and cognitive characteristics of
primary school students. Young learners require dynamic, interactive, and stimulating
environments that foster not only language acquisition but also creativity, critical thinking, and
motivation. In this regard, the implementation of innovative teaching methods is essential to
create favorable conditions for effective learning.
Innovative methods such as game-based learning, the use of digital technologies, project-
based learning, role-playing, and interactive activities provide unique opportunities for making
the educational process more engaging, accessible, and tailored to the individual needs of
students. These approaches contribute to the development of key language competencies-
listening, speaking, reading, and writing-while simultaneously promoting active participation
and sustained interest in learning. The main purpose of this research is to explore the theoretical
foundations and practical applications of innovative methods in teaching English to primary
classes. It seeks to analyze the effectiveness of various techniques, identify best practices, and
propose recommendations for their successful integration into the English language curriculum
for young learners.

Literature review and methodology
Nowadays, English language is taught a lot in the world. Education is necessary,
formation of alphabets and words is important and necessary in education. But there is more
important than them. Children need to be able to speak words and understand their meaning
before they can write them. The basis for teaching English can only be taught using the orthodox
methods of teaching alphabets and also words and rules. But learning the rules is considered
boring by most of the students so they lose interest in learning the language. Although there is no
other way to teach the basics of the language, traditional methods need to be slightly modified.
Traditional methods usually perform worse than innovative methods when it comes to
teaching English to advanced students who already know the basics. These are already proven
methods. The use of game technologies in education is one of the most effective methods of
teaching. During the game, their thinking, outlook, thinking and knowledge will expand.
Scientists believe that the game approach to education facilitates the learning process. It
not only makes it easier, but also increases the interest in this subject and encourages the child to
acquire deep knowledge. Game-style lessons on children's speech helps to develop. First graders
really like different visuals with pictures or videos.
Although the purpose of the activity is to teach English, it can attract children through
the game, and children will be involved in these activities involuntarily, and children will learn
the foreign language as naturally as their mother tongue. It is also worth paying special attention
to ensure the availability. Students will have the opportunity to listen to the words and pronounce
them. The principle of individualization of education should be paid attention to if the given
subject is presented to the students with the help of a computer. Some students find it difficult to
accept the graphic image of the word, and some have difficulty with the sound image. The
computer overcomes this or that difficulty by means of exercises and helps the student to find
and eliminate aspects of the English language that he struggles to master. Starting from the
second grade, other educational games aimed at mastering grammar can be organized. For
example, "Who is literate?", Who is smart? "Who am I?", "Chain", "Role-playing game", "Find
the place of the word" are fun games to improve students' knowledge. they enrich "Am I the
best? " gives a good result in improving spelling literacy when using the game. In this case, 5-6
words are written on cardboard, and the words are written correctly and incorrectly. Students are
required to find the misspelled word and write it correctly. The winner of the game is determined
by which student is the first to correctly write the misspelled words.

We know that in the current educational process, the student should be the subject.
Focusing more on interactive methods will increase the effectiveness of education. One
of the most important requirements for English language classes is to teach independent
thinking.
Some students find it difficult to accept the graphic image of the word, and some have
difficulty with the sound image. That's why we teachers should use interactive, innovative and
interesting methods and organize lessons meaningfully. We know that it is most important to
introduce modern information and communication technologies into the educational process, to
use them effectively and correctly, thereby increasing students' interest in foreign languages, and
improving the effectiveness of teaching. Nowadays, there are various methods in the field of
education. They are more interested in covering a new topic during the lesson It should be used
in order to increase. It is known that in recent years, a new era has begun in the teaching of
foreign languages in the system of public education in our country, and the methodology has
changed.
It requires the use of advanced pedagogical technologies, interactive, innovative
methods. This is confirmed by the fact that English is taught in schools from the 1st grade.
Raising the interest of students who are hungry for knowledge in learning the language,
introducing them to the rich world of the English language requires a lot of work from teachers.
Learning through senses (tasting vegetables, fruits, food, holding various objects,
smelling flowers). Before studying this new method, it is necessary to quote the thoughts of a
practicing psychologist: "The pedagogue, who wants something to be firmly fixed in the
children's memory, should use as many of the child's sensory organs as possible: eyes, ears,
sound organs, muscle sensations and even, he should try to involve the organs of smell and taste
in the process of memorization. For example, in the process of tasting a single apple, the student
knows its color, taste, size, smell, and also says its English name. As a result, when the teacher
asks the children the English name of the colors, the children immediately remember the time
when they ate the fruit. Therefore, the use of such methods helps the student to retain the
information in his memory for a long time and also facilitates the teaching of the English
language.
Discussion
A child is very curious and ambitious by nature, and he uses all his senses to explore the
environment.

Since the game is the main and favorite activity of the child, if the environment and all
the necessary knowledge and skills in it are explained to the child through the game, the
efficiency of mastering the skills will increase several times. The game not only increases the
physical activity of the child, but it also helps to form mental freshness. The game helps the child
to strengthen his self-confidence and to form social relations with others. It is through the game
that children learn and discover their talents. To achieve this, it is advisable to use an
environment that activates the senses, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic types of active
education. As Masaru Ibuka, one of the Chinese inventors, wrote in his famous book "After that
it's too late", "a child's brain can have an infinite amount of information". not memorize it
mechanically.
Therefore, it is necessary not to start teaching the language to elementary school students
learning English with grammatical concepts. Otherwise, from the first step of teaching a foreign
language, it can tire the child and weaken his interest in learning the language. Because
teaching a foreign language to elementary school students is difficult and at the same time one of
the responsible tasks. That is why the following innovative methods can be used to teach English
language meaningfully and interestingly to primary classes: Memorization by sight. After all, as
Chinese thinkers say, "All human interests arise through competition", Mixed technique is where
we can voluntarily combine different techniques. For example, children can play games, sing
songs, draw pictures, show new words through various actions. The advantage of the technique
is diversity. In this, the reader is not limited by only one thing. Teaching through cartoons. It is
known that children are interested in watching different cartoons. In the process of watching
cartoons in English, although he does not understand the words in the cartoon, he tries to
understand the words they use through the actions of the cartoon characters. This is an
interesting and effective way for children to learn the language. Learning through fun games.
The role of teaching through various games in teaching English is incomparable. Playing
various games during the lesson will increase the enthusiasm for learning science in the
classroom and encourage inactive students to participate better in the lessons.
Results
Connect Information and Language Learning Many studies show that students do better
when homework and school knowledge are integrated into the academic environment. Children
and their families are more likely to be successful when they are represented and respected in the
classroom.

Allowing students to express themselves and learn from each other in a safe environment
is also a great social-emotional learning opportunity that benefits the whole class, especially the
colorful pictures and videos.
Teachers should consider using the following tactics in their practice:
Get to know the background of the students
Using examples related to their lives.
Representing student culture through art, music and literature.
Encourage students to tell stories in a variety of mediums: painting, poetry, visual arts,
drama, essays, etc.
Ask students to regularly talk and write about their lives in casual, low-stress ways.
In fact, language learning through the senses is more useful and effective than other
methods. For example, in the process of tasting a single apple, the student knows its color, taste,
size, smell, and also says its English name. As a result, when the teacher asks the children the
English name of the colors, the children immediately remember the time when they ate the fruit.
Therefore, the use of such methods helps the student to retain information in his memory
for a long time.
Conclusion
The conducted research confirms that the use of innovative methods in teaching English
to primary school students plays a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of the educational
process. Innovative approaches not only facilitate the acquisition of linguistic skills but also
promote the cognitive, emotional, and social development of young learners. Methods such as
game-based learning, project-based activities, the integration of digital technologies, and
interactive exercises create a dynamic and engaging learning environment that caters to the
psychological and developmental needs of primary school pupils.
The study has demonstrated that when teaching methods are adapted to be more
interactive, student-centered, and creative, students exhibit higher levels of motivation, greater
involvement in the learning process, and improved academic performance. Innovative methods
stimulate learners’ interest in the English language, encourage active participation, foster
communication skills, and help overcome language barriers from an early age.
