Introduction.
There is probably no home in Uzbekistan where the poems of Abdulla
Oripov, one of the most beloved poets of the Uzbek people, have not found their way. The power
of Abdulla Oripov’s poetry lies in its high artistic value. However, his poetic beauty is not
achieved through artificial expressions, forced metaphors, or illogical personifications. Each
phrase and simile in his work is rooted in truth. Abdulla Oripov skillfully employs proverbs,
sayings, and expressions created by our wise nation, breathing new poetic life into them.
Every poem, every line of his work has its own distinct rhythm, which cannot be
expressed in any other tone. This unique style is what makes him such an exceptional poet.
When he writes, he does so with passion, carefully sharpening his pen and pouring his heart into
every word. Indeed, the poet is a true singer of the homeland and love. It is known that Abdulla
Oripov’s poems have deeply touched the hearts of many. There is hardly anyone who hasn’t
memorized or at least heard his poetry. Those who read his poems often find themselves
humming them again and again.
His collections of love poems have been published multiple times. His first poetry
collection is titled “Mitti yulduz”. He later published other collections such as “Ko‘zlarim
yo‘lingda”, “Onajon”, “Ruhim”, “Yuzma-yuz”, “Munojot”, “Shoir yuragi” and others. In his
poems, the poet touches on subjects that reach the depths of the human soul. For example, take
his collection “Yillar armoni”. In it, the poet expresses his views on major threats to the human
spirit—envy, gossip, corruption, and the struggle between good and evil—with even sharper
emotion.
His poems have also been analyzed and discussed by critics. Another one of his poems,
“Tilla baliqcha”, is interpreted differently by each reader. As people live together on one planet,
the poet says, it is essential that they learn from each other. They should not look at one another
with jealousy, but with admiration.
About story.
Only words that come from the heart can reach the heart. There is a poem that deeply
moved me, made me rediscover my identity and inner world — it is the poem “Uzbekistan” by
the great poet Abdulla Oripov. This work has become one of the most unforgettable turning
points in my life. Honestly, this poem is not just a set of lines to me — it is the piece that

awakened my love for my homeland, stirred my emotions, and not only touched my heart, but
filled it with a new life.
The first time I read the poem, I felt something change within me. Abdulla Oripov used
simple words to convey profound meaning, but most importantly — he wrote with his heart. His
sincere call of “Uzbekistan,” his respectful and noble mention of the Motherland, his view of the
land as sacred — all of this deeply captivated me. In this poem, love for the homeland is not
merely expressed; it is pain, pride, a promise, loyalty, and salvation poured out directly from the
heart.
After reading this poem, I began to see my country differently. I felt a new connection to
every hill, every street, even to a simple stone. Behind what seems like a simple poem beats the
heart of an entire nation. When Oripov says “Uzbekistan”, I realized he isn’t just referring to a
landscape in front of the eyes, but rather to history, people, the soil, the spirit of ancestors, and
the dreams of future generations. This poem awakened in me not only a sense of pride but also a
sense of responsibility. The thought, “I too am a child of this land — I must live in a way that
honors it,” has stayed with me ever since.
When I understood the tone, the spirit, and the greatness of Oripov’s poem, my entire
perspective on literature changed. Poetry is not merely a play of words; it is the symbol of the
purest, deepest feelings in the human soul. Especially works like this one — written about the
homeland — do not just educate, they nurture, shape, and refine a person. Whoever I am today
— the poem “Uzbekistan” has played a huge role in that.
To call Abdulla Oripov just a poet would not be enough. He is the heart of the people, the
pride of the Uzbek nation, the living embodiment of our poetry. And works like “Uzbekistan”
that he created are eternal masterpieces. Every time I read this poem, something within me
changes, renews, and the feeling called “Homeland” in my heart becomes even stronger.
For me, the poem
“Uzbekistan”
is not just a poem. It is a priceless spiritual legacy that
has left a mark on my life, taken a permanent place in my heart, and brought me back to my true
self.
Of course, with pleasure. Below, I present a continuation of a deep, emotionally rich, 3-
page article about Abdulla Oripov’s
“Uzbekistan”
. Each line feels as if it is written from the
heart, and the previous thoughts are not repeated.
The first time I listened to
“Uzbekistan”
, its lines didn’t just touch my ears — they struck
my heart. Every word of the poet resonated with the rhythm of my soul and moved my spirit.
What amazed me most was how profoundly the poem portrayed the homeland, its unique beauty,
and the inner strength of its people. In this work,
Uzbekistan
is not just a geographic territory,
but for the poet — and for us — it is a sacred land, a piece of our soul.
As I read and reread the poem, I began to see it from different perspectives each time.
One day, it helped me understand myself. Another day, it took me back to my childhood — to
the dusty fields, the sound of water in the canals, my mother’s prayers… Each image in the poem
harmonized with the memories and feelings in my heart. Abdulla Oripov has such a magical
power that he opens his heart through the poem — and, in doing so, makes the reader open
theirs. After reading this poem, I entered a phase of deep reflection and calm within myself.
How
am I living? What kind of person am I? Am I worthy of my homeland?
The poet’s emotions
echoed within me.
You can immediately sense that this poem — which leaves such a powerful impression
— was written from the heart. What’s especially moving is that Abdulla Oripov doesn’t boast

about his love for the homeland. Instead, he expresses it naturally, from the depths of his being.
His tone is not festive or formal, but comes from a love born through both the bitter and the
sweet experiences of life. In
“Uzbekistan”
, the cotton fields, the desert, the steppe, the valleys —
these are not just geographic features. They seem to live and breathe with the history, patience,
and dreams of the people.
They say a poet sings with the heart and reflects on paper. But in Oripov’s poetry, this
process happens from one heart to another. He evokes a tremor in every heart that reads his
poem. And for this reason,
“Uzbekistan”
didn’t strike me as just another literary work — it
became a life lesson that awakened my sense of humanity, national identity, historical
consciousness, and spiritual depth.
When I decided to memorize this poem, I began to feel its rhythm, inner tone, and soul
even more deeply. Every letter carries its own weight. Even without explicitly describing events,
the poem is rich in meaning. It contains the spirit of our ancestors. It reflects the past struggles of
our nation, today’s hopes, and tomorrow’s ambitions. Most of all, the lines at the end —
saturated with silent loyalty, devotion, and heartfelt fidelity to Uzbekistan — squeeze the heart.
These lines cannot be read with the eyes alone — they are felt with the heart.
The poet does not simply express his own love in this poem. He speaks to each of us
directly:
“You too are from this land — cherish this soil, carry this flag on your shoulders, be
responsible for this nation.”
After reading these words, I began to feel a certain inner obligation,
a sense of gratitude, and a deep sense of responsibility. This poem taught me not only about the
homeland, but also about the human being — their inner world, dreams, pain, and spiritual
growth.
Perhaps that’s why this poem has taken such an important place in my life. Because it
introduced me to my true self. I had always introduced myself as “Uzbekistani.” But after
understanding
“Uzbekistan”
, I began to truly feel the weight, the honor, and the responsibility of
that word. Now, saying it doesn’t just represent who I am — it also reflects the kind of person I
must strive to be.
Through this poem, Abdulla Oripov gave me a lesson: love should not exist only in
words — it must live in action and intention. Love for one’s homeland, loyalty — these are not
only for holidays and celebrations, but must be lived out every day, in every moment, with every
breath. Through this poem, I didn’t remain just a reader — I became a person with awareness,
with a sense of civic duty and identity.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I can say this: Abdulla Oripov’s poem
“Uzbekistan”
is not just a piece of
literature for me — it is a lifelong lesson, an inner light that has illuminated my path in life. The
pain, pride, and love hidden in its lines brought me back to my true self and deepened my
thoughts. Surely, every heart will find its own melody in this poem. Because it is a heartfelt,
emotional, and hopeful call — singing of homeland, nation, and humanity.
