DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF VARIOUS RADIOGRAPHIC SHADOWS: A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW

Radiographic imaging, particularly X-rays, plays a crucial role in the diagnostic process across various medical specialties. One of the key aspects of interpreting radiographic images is recognizing and differentiating the shadows that appear on the films. These shadows are typically the result of differences in the absorption of X-rays by tissues of varying densities. Understanding the nature of these shadows is essential for making an accurate diagnosis, as they can indicate a wide range of pathological conditions, including infections, tumors, fractures, and inflammatory diseases.
