Abstract:

This article discusses the role of modern technologies in human life,

their impact on various areas, their importance in everyday life, and the innovations
they have introduced into the social, economic, and educational systems. It also
analyzes the positive and negative aspects of technological progress, and the expected
prospects for the future.

The 21st century is the century of technology. Today, technologies have deeply

penetrated every person's life: from communication to healthcare, education,
transportation, and even our daily lives, which are controlled by technology. Modern
technologies not only create convenience, but are also becoming an important factor in
the development of society.

One of the reasons why technology, regardless of the field, is in the spotlight for

scientists and other specialists and interested parties is that it adds convenience to our
daily activities, while saving time and improving the quality of life. If we look at
history, it took many years to come to such an improved version, regardless of whether
it is a thing or an object in our daily life that we use today. These periods, in turn, are
divided into the following groups. Neolithic technique. This period is called the Stone
Age, because the oldest technique was made of stone. In the Mesolithic period, spears
and bows appeared, which made it possible to kill birds and animals from a distance of
100-150 meters. The emergence of civilizations was facilitated by agriculture, which
appeared in the Neolithic period. The invention of the wheel was of great importance
during this period. The iron plow for agricultural purposes became widespread in
medieval technology. Brass alloy was mastered, window glass was produced, and glass
was invented. Later, in turn, water mills and windmills began to be used.

Technology has witnessed an impressive evolution in the last few decades,

which in turn has changed our lives and helped us develop with it. From smooth roads,
railways and airplanes for seamless travel to facilitating communication from any
corner of the world, technology has contributed more than anything to helping
humanity live a luxurious and comfortable life. It is thanks to technology that we know
our world and the cosmos better. Every field owes its development to technology, and
this clearly shows the importance of technology in all aspects of our lives.

Today, the following technologies are widely used in everyday life:
• The Internet and digital communication tools – enable global information

exchange, communication through social networks.

• Smartphones and mobile applications – have become a daily necessity as a tool

to make life easier.

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) – is used in areas such as automated systems,

intelligent assistants, self-driving cars.

• Cloud technologies – provide secure storage and sharing of data.
• Internet of Things (IoT) – improves the quality of life through smart homes and

smart transportation systems.

People are connecting with the world through social networks, exchanging ideas

and looking for new opportunities. Technologies are revolutionizing the creation of
personal brands, entrepreneurship, and service provision.

Through distance learning, online courses, and digital platforms (Khan

Academy, Coursera, Duolingo), students have the opportunity to learn at any time.
Interactive learning methods – video lessons, electronic tests, and artificial
intelligence-based analysis systems – are increasing the efficiency of learning.

With the help of technologies, production is accelerating, costs are decreasing,

and the ability to use resources efficiently is becoming available. E-commerce,
blockchain, and cryptocurrencies have become an integral part of the modern economy.

In addition, Biotechnology has a positive impact on almost all aspects of human

life. Its development is revolutionizing environmental risks, developing new
medicines, making agriculture more efficient, and improving healthcare. However, it
is important to use these technologies responsibly and ethically.

Medical biotechnology: Gene therapy: Treatment of genetic diseases by editing

DNA.

Vaccines and biologics: Biotech vaccines have been shown to be effective in the

COVID-19 pandemic.

Artificial organs: 3D printing of tissues and organs through bioprinting

technology.

Agricultural

biotechnology:

Genetically

modified

plants:

Increasing

productivity and ensuring pest resistance. Biofertilizers: Increasing soil fertility based
on natural processes.

There are also risks associated with technology: cybercrime, privacy violations,

excessive dependence on technology among young people, and the decline of social
interaction in real life.

Technology can also be applied in several areas and includes a wide range of

innovations. Some of them are classified as follows:

Semi-radical technology: This type of technology is based on existing

knowledge and aims to improve it in innovative ways. For example, smartphone brands
are constantly releasing new hardware versions, which keeps technology evolving.

Disruptive technology: This technology disrupts existing systems with

innovations and offers more efficient alternatives. For example, music streaming
services such as Spotify and Apple Music have made the practice of downloading
songs on a mobile device almost obsolete.

Additive technology: This technology aims to improve a product by making

small changes to existing systems. Examples of additive technology include operating
system updates, security patches, or changes to services.

Technology has become an integral part of our daily lives. Everything we do

right from the start of our day to the end involves some form of technology. One of the
reasons why technology is so important to scientists and other experts and stakeholders,
regardless of the field, is that it adds convenience to our daily activities, while saving
time and improving the quality of life. From our smartphones that are useful to us to
various kitchen appliances, computer systems, communication tools, transportation
systems, and online shopping (to name a few), how have we changed our lives? ten
years ago. The benefits that technology brings to our lives in smaller and larger ways
account for the constant work towards further advancement in technological
innovations.

Conclusion, Modern technologies have penetrated all aspects of our lives, and

while they facilitate human activities, they also create new problems and
responsibilities. Therefore, it is necessary to use these technologies wisely and
purposefully, guided by science and social interests.
