This article is about importance of learning foreign language in two countries.

Uzbekistan.
Key words:
language learning, students, career, English language, districts.
For the time being learning language is becoming the most crucial part of human
being life. Every field is linked in language sphere where employees are required to know
several languages according to their work. This article below provides data and statistics
regarding language acquiring in Uzbekistan and USA.
As Uzbekistan becomes more open, Uzbeks, especially university students, are
embracing the United States and the rest of the Western world. The most effective and
beneficial way young Uzbeks are welcoming and engaging with these new relationships
is through the English language. (1)
Many young Uzbeks strive to master the English language. At many universities across
the capital, Tashkent, many Uzbek students enroll in English language courses. For many,
the English language is a break from the past and represents a new future. For young men,
English language is a natural step in their business endeavors. As one male student
mentioned, “The English language will help me establish strong business connections
and make my business wealthier.” For many female students I spoke with they view the
English language as a way to gain a professional career in translation or further their
higher education pursuits. (2)
As Uzbekistan becoming an open country which is rising friendship with other countries
day by day students are playing an important role between two countries with the help of
their language skills. It is mentioned that language can help students to be successful in
18
their work and business.
According to a Pew study from last year, only 20 percent of K-12 students in
America study a foreign language (compared with an average of 92 percent in Europe),
and only 10 states and the District of Columbia make foreign-language learning a high
school graduation requirement. (3)
Nationwide, parents and teachers have been leading grass-roots initiatives to
provide foreign-language learning in public schools, and some universities have instituted
innovative language programs. From pre-K to graduate studies, there is a move toward
holistic language education, based on the notion that learning a language should be
grounded in the real, everyday use of that language. (4)
USA is the leader among counting in many spheres however in learning language
they are not as strong as they did before. For the last year requirement of gaining
experience in learning language is highly went down. Most of the schools in districts
doesn't require language learning skills. But apart from district schools, universities in
USA have helped their students by providing them with interactive technologies that can
be really helpful while learning new language.
If we look through comparison of learning language in two countries most of
students in Uzbekistan learn language in order to have a great career in abroad and it's
raising day by day. However, if we look to statistic of the USA learning foreign language
decreased to a high present. Students in Uzbekistan are tend to learn language for business
rather than academic goals. Apart from this most of the students who are gaining
experience in language world are attracted to political process as a translator and it makes
easy to be succeed in politics. Demonstration of statistics proved that USA doesn't require
learning language skills as strong as Uzbekistan. It was a bit strange data for the reason
that before doing research we thought USA is in the top of the rock in learning language.
In conclusion, learning a language is becoming the most essential part of the most
Uzbek students’ life as it really effects on their career and future life. However, in USA
learning foreign language requirement is decreased for the last years.
