INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE
EDUCATIONAL PROCESS
PhD, as.prof. Khakimov Zhamshid Oktyamovich
Tashkent State Technical University, Uzbekistan
Annotation:
The article discusses the issue of developing the intellectual
competence of gifted students through the use of information and communication
technologies in the educational process.
Key words:
informatization, intellectual, potential, formation, operational
control, level assessment.
Education is an inextricable part of any society, an indicator of its culture and
the basis of progress. As a connecting link, it ensures the unity and continuity of
experience, spiritual, moral and cultural traditions, and the progressive development of
society.
The main thing in the work of an educational institution is the optimal fulfillment
of the social order for the formation of a competent graduate through the introduction
of information and communication technologies into the educational process.
One of the priority areas of informatization of modern society is the
informatization of education - the process of providing the education sector with
methodology and practical development and rational use of information and
communication technologies
The use of modern information technologies in education makes it possible to
significantly overcome the conservatism and rigidity of the framework of traditional
educational systems and create an open educational space in which the student is not
an object, but a subject of education, independently shaping his own educational
trajectory.
The main goal of education is not only the assimilation of a huge and ever-
increasing amount of knowledge, or at least orientation in the flow of ever-increasing
165
information, but also the acquisition, creation, production of knowledge that does not
exist, but the need for which is riped.
The implementation of these goals determines new objectives of education,
including:
-
the formation of a new mentality based on the belief that education not only
consumes and replicates new knowledge, but most importantly, is a producer of new
knowledge and information;
-
creation of new types of cognitive methodology that allows one to overcome
psychological barriers to thinking, develop the ability for abstract thinking and, due to
this, in the learning process based on achieving specific creative goals, to form
productive knowledge that generates new knowledge;
-
creation of a new educational space that allows you to receive quality
education at any time.
One of the priority areas of informatization of modern society is the
informatization of education - the process of providing the education sector with
methodology and practical development and rational use of information and
communication technologies with the aim of:
-
improving the methodology and strategy for selecting the content, methods
and organizational forms of training and education that correspond to the tasks of
developing the student’s personality in modern conditions of informatization of
society;
-
creation of methodological teaching systems focused on the development of
the student’s intellectual potential, the formation of skills to independently acquire
knowledge, carry out information, educational and experimental research activities;
-
development of computer testing and diagnostic techniques that provide
systematic operational control and assessment of students’ knowledge level.
